You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomYou couldn’t access before 4pm the door was locked I was assured I could drop off luggage beforehand but when arrived owner was out so had to wait a good 40 minutes to hand in luggage resulting in us being a bit late for a festival.
Very clean and owner was smiley and welcoming. Breakfast was quick and nice plus the owner was very attentive.

United Kingdomon arrival place was closed and curtains closed so looked abandoned. Sign on door said check-in at 4pm so at 4pm still no sign of staff. Had to phone owner to get in. No restaurant as no chef-only discovered when phoned to reserve table. Bed very soft so felt in danger of rolling out all time. Window in bathroom couldn’t open so no ventilation. No toilet brush.

Rubble strewn....old junk littered.....ruined walls .....overgrown climbers and needs serious attention......Most disappointed on having to pay a levy to have an en suite bathroom...all hotels have or should have one as standard . I had to pay extra ! Not acceptable. This hotel is overpriced !

United KingdomIts an old building so don't expect all the facilities like in a modern hotel.
I booked this because I was not prepared to pay over £200 for a room in Edniburgh for a business meeting, and the Spread Eagle suited our purposes for a business trip. The owners were really friendly and we chatted in the bar about the challenges they faced taking on a building that was over 500 years old. I actually really liked the quirkyness of the accomodation the rooms were clean and the shower worked well which is what I needed.
