We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

I think it's the best guest house that I've ever been. John is wonderful, everything, literally everything is oriented towards making the guest feel welcomed. Very clean, AMAZING garden, really in touch with nature (2 pet mini chickens that I loved, Hasel and Cranberrly - don't know if I spelled it correctly, squirrels, birds, lovely flowers), and still super close to the centre, to everything that You need. Great addition is the coffee and tea machine, the spotless bathroom (practical also for people with back problems like me). The room was reserved without breakfast, but the additional stuff that You can drink/eat in the morning without any supplementary cost is literally all you need in the morning. Really impressed and would love to visit again. THANK YOU, JOHN !!!

GermanyA beautiful room, almost little apartment, equipped with attention to detail and anything that may be needed for convenience. John is a most friendly and helpful host and made us feel comfortable. Large and comfortable guest lounge with guest fridge and complimentary snacks. The house is beautifully located, in a row of sandstone terraced houses with front gardens, 5-10 minutes walk to main streets. We had 5 days in St. Andrews and enjoyed every minute. Picturesque places along Fife coast easy to reach.

This was a great location for exploring St Andrews. Our host, John, was extremely welcoming and very helpful. Whilst there was no official breakfast, we had a constant supply of savoury and sweet snacks, drinks and HOMEMADE by John cakes! The bed was so comfortable and, whilst it was not a very big room, the B nB had everything, including a gorgeous garden . It was lovely to see the bantams and ducks and listen to the blackbirds by the burn. Highly recommended!

John is a kind and friendly host. The house is in a very pleasant location. There were cereal bars and instant porridge, cartons of juice and fruit available but we were already aware breakfast wasn't served. Use of a fridge. Tasty homemade Bakewell tart! Bedroom very comfortable and use of equally comfortable sitting room with lovely homely feel ("It is my home", John) and plenty of books and games. Two sweet ?bantam hens in garden and a pleasing view down to the burn where there are ducks. Very convenient for the town centre.
