The only downside was the kitchen extraction unit that you could hear when the window was open. other than this no faults and would stay here again when in the area.

Perfect location, we were in Lulworth for sea kayaking and it was only a short drive away. located right next to the beach, wonderful pub with a great selection of food and drink. The room was a great size and was wonderfully decorated. Staff were all pleasant and very helpful. The pub was open late which was great for us and the breakfast options were really great. Would defiantly stay here again.

The kitchen extract fan could be heard in the bedroom, whilst the kitchen was in use.

Loved the historical look of the Smugglers Inn, the outside seating area’s, the friendly staff and great location.

The location in a quiet hamlet at the edge of the coastal path was superb. The smugglers inn was like a good pub should be, good beers and great food. What made our stay however, were the truly wonderful staff who went out of their way to make us welcome and in facilitating us. We all had a truly wonderful time for my special birthday. Thank you all the staff at the Smugglers inn you are a credit to the brewery.

The bed was hard and the mattress needed replacing. I question the price of the room at £200 which seemed a little on the steep side

The history it’s a beautiful traditional pub/restaurant and the room was well decorated with a great shower. Food was excellent and staff very welcoming friendly and helpful

There was a giant kitchen fan next to our window so we were unable to leave it open despite the heat. It was overpriced unfortunately although the staff were lovely.

Access (but understandable due to location) - medium sized car park but avoid arriving at weekends when busy. No facilities for drying wetsuits etc.

Ordinarily I don’t do reviews but in this case I make an exception. Staff so friendly, dinner and breakfast exceptional, room perfect, clean and just quirky enough and location just spot on. I have rarely been more impressed than here.
