A lovely Inn with beautifully decorated rooms and a fantastic attitude from the staff, very helpful and accommodating. The food was fantastic too, both breakfast and dinner. Also, just as we arrived the sun was setting and there was a spectacular view from the carpark as we pulled up. Make sure not to miss it!

No sea view from room. Some noise from kitchen fans in our room.

Excellent. Baked eggs were a triumph.

I thought it was a little overpriced for what it was. Small double bed on a metal frame that meant you could really feel it if your partner turned over and shower was a bit dodgy, but small complaints!

Really nice pub. Lovely staff. Amazing location. Walk behind the pub and through the fields along the coast - the most beautiful hike we have done in a long time.

Its a pity that I have to say this, as the rooms are very nice, however the toilet had stains around the rim and the toilet seat was loose, the side of the bath needed painting as well.

Location is superb, the food is of the highest quality and reasonably priced.

Thought the Bar prices for drinks was very “High” taking advantage of shall I say Captive Ordinance.

Liked the layout interior of the Inn Beams , washed walls exposed brickwork etc. Breakfast and evening Meals we had food was very good.

Roast beef was tough but staff had kindly reserved 2 for us so it might have been the sitting around. Area by toilet brush needed a good bleach :( Be good to have some fresh milk in room.

Staff were super helpful, couldn’t do enough. Room was pretty, bed comfortable. Dinner & breakfast ok.

We loved our stay. Please understand that these are only minor niggles. We would happily stay again and recommend it to anyone. Room 3 could do with better sound proofing. A carpet like the one in room 4 would go a long way. The floor boards in room 3 are very loud. The staff kitchen is also through the wall and we were woken by a member of staff loudly calling home for over 30 minutes on a speakerphone at 7am. The only other niggle was that the kitchen had a tendency to run out of a fair few items in the menu each evening occasionally resulting in very few choices for the veggies in our group.

Amazing location just by the sea. Exemplary breakfast. Super-friendly staff. Cosy rooms. Room 4 is fantastic - quiet, warm, cosy.

Remember you are sleeping above a pub, wasn't too bad but worth a thought.

Breakfast was lovely, good basic choice but they did make changes on our request (simple ones) as we don't have huge appetites. Good food we had a lovely dinner. Location was great for walking and Weymouth drive etc. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

The only thing that we didn't like was that some things in the room were quite dusty. Mainly the Ornaments and main light shade. And bathroom blind wouldn't come down.

Great staff, big selection of ales, good food, lovely room. Would definitely return. Looks like it gets pretty busy in peak season. May have a look at some of the other Hall & Woodhouse pubs with rooms in Dorset, too.
