The bed was too soft, and we could feel every spring. Would be really helpful to have a small table and chairs in the room so we could easily prepare breakfast and sit in comfort whilst eating. Also, it would be handy to have a toaster in the room, too. The decor is a little tired, and the bathroom smelled of damp.

Great size accommodation, clean, and very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. The breakfast hamper was lovely. Thank you so much for the gluten-free choices.

The shower unit looked like it came straight off a Dr Who set. Far too complicated to operate and looked out of place with the rest of the room.

Lovely pub with roaring lit log burner making the bar feeling very cosy, we had the captain suite which was large, fantastic en-suite, very clean, central heating, comfortable and had everything needed in the room, leading out to a nice balcony, very nice breakfast hamper left at our door in the morning

Room on the flat, no one to meet us when we arrived, the smugglers seemed totally deserted, I think that we will not come again. Spent a long time trying to find someone ie a member of staff ,perhaps this was because we arrived early.

Breakfast was good, though I would have preferred a cooked breakfast, the room was nice and clean but my wife fell when trying to get back through the garden and up the steps in the dark ,I also found it difficult as both myself and wife are disabled. Though the service was good and Mark did a good job it’s not the place for anyone with a disability.

The 'red/green disco lights' switched on at 6pm when sat on the balcony was not nice. Had to admit defeat & go inside! Then had to close the curtains to as they were still an annoyance! Room large enough for a table & a couple of chairs which would make for an easier eating experience of the Amazing Breakfast Hamper.

Fantastic Breakfast Hamper delivered each Morning with lovely fresh produce. Large, clean, comfortable room with an outside balcony area to sit out on. Walking distance to the seafront, onside parking. The food served in the Restaurant was outstanding, freshly cooked to order with good sized portions at very acceptable prices. Highly recommend a stay here. Also has a lovely sunny beer garden to sit out with dogs & children.

One of the room lights was automatically triggered when you walk past it which could be distracting when visiting the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Very large and comfortable room with a good-sized bed and two sofas. We particularly liked the breakfast delivered to the room in a picnic hamper. The rooms are attached to a historic pub with a good selection of beers, ciders and gins.

No option of breakfast and although it was ok didn't really want stuff I didn't like,also was left on our doorstep but we didn't know it was there. Only a bath no shower,I recently had bad fall and damaged rotator cuff in upper shoulder so couldn't have got out bath as very deep. Couldn't eat at pub the first night as was packed so had to go out,also people from pub trying to open our door so had to keep locked at all times. Room was lovely but for the price could really do with a good freshen up of paintwork also couldn't watch TV unless you had Netflix,you tube or Amazon accounts
