It’s our favourite as it’s where myself and my husband were married in 2006. The dining room is just stunning as is the bar, lovely selection of drinks and lush cocktails too.

Nothing, even though parking is limited they have a deal with The Bakewell Bridge car park that works well

We stayed in Tye Devonshire Suite with a beat and comfy 4 poster bed it was furnished well and relaxing to have a sofa in the room to watch tv or read, Restaurant and lounge areas decorated beautifully and wonderful grand staircase had an array of oil paintings and photos relating to The Duke of Devonshire and Chatsworth estate

I turned up slightly early and couldn't find a parking space in the courtyard. I ended up staying in the bridge car park, which was actually better because I could stay there (while going in and out) until the evening on the day I left

A little bit too hot in the room. Parking a bit limited. Breakfast in the coffee shop area a bit awkward, slow to arrive, long walk to fetch toast! Maybe that could be brought along with coffee?

The hotel only has a very small carpark so if you don't get a spot you will have to park in one of Bakewells public car parks which isn't a problem if you know which car parks allows you to park overnight. The hotels website doesn't say which car park it is.

Excellent location to explore Bakewell and surrounding area. The evening dinner was exceptional and the breakfast was just as good. All staff were helpful and friendly.

There was nothing not to like.

We loved our stay. The hotel is gorgeously decorated. Our room was cosy with ensuite shower room. All the staff were lovely and could not do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Food was excellent.

Relaxed atmosphere on the whole, comfortable room in the courtyard, dusty in parts. We were lucky to get a space in the small car park, had to wait to get into our room , as it wasn’t ready on arrival. The evening meal and breakfast were good but not amazing e.g ice in orange juice at breakfast , fried egg over cooked and not once were we asked if everything was okay , at dinner and breakfast. No bottled water in the room , would expect at the price we were paying. Larger selection is teas and a coffee machine. When we left we had to wait 2O minutes to hand back room keys and pay bill, as the receptionist was busy taking other bookings on the phone, while paying quest were left waiting. Lovely building but lacks customer service.

I wish we had been in the main hotel not the courtyard somewhat didnt feel the same One girl didnt seem that friendly (stella) Would have been nice for them to make a small effort as it was my birthday as past hotels have Couldnt use the coffee machine as it was so dusty and the boxed mugs looked like it hadnt been used in ages

The hotel looked gorgeous, we stayed over in the courtyard so only saw the restaurant and bar area The food was really lovely, we had a nice meal and the cocktail was gorgeous Harmony was very helpful and polite and accomodating
