The property was immaculate The owner made me very welcome, he advised about heating & his things work and showed me the secluded garden area.

WiFi was a little in and out but everything else was absolutely perfect.

It was a beautiful cottage feel, the extra space in the summer house was fantastic, it was so clean and perfectly decorated. The garden is beautiful and the birds singing was a wonderful to listen to with a morning coffee.

My only real issue is a personal one but i found the mattress far too soft which might not be an issue for other users.

The hosts were excellent. Easy to communicate with & really accommodating. The retreat was very well laid out & cosy. Its in a very quiet location.

A little bit cramped when it's too cold to use the outside space

A very nice room with comfortable bed. The outside space would be lovely in summer. Beth was friendly and helpful. Fresh milk in the fridge was much appreciated. Walking distance pubs for meals and cafes for breakfast (but check cafe opening times - too late for early breakfast!)

The WiFi was a touch slow, but I suspect that was the rural nature of the area, but I still managed to stream some live TV. it was fine for general work, emails etc.

Such a warm welcome from Beth, spotlessly clean, and a cosy room. Quiet spot, which suited me well and close to my client for the next day.

This is very picky but would prefer slightly larger towels .. but then my husband is 6’ 4 and always moans about towel sizes 😊

Whilst bijou it was beautifully converted and tastefully furnished.. loved it . A decent shower, comfortable bed (although slatted base so a little noisy when you moved) lovely little outhouse/bar with a comfy sofa and outside seating (although weather not great so didn’t use). Beth was absolutely delightful, friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile (literally) for us, could not have asked for a better host. When visiting friends again in the area, we will definitely be staying here.

Simon and Beth were lovely hosts couldnt be more helpful. The whole experience was just lovely a true retreat from a busy life situated in a farming village 5 mins away from bawtry which is great for shopping. We couldn't of asked for better. We will definitely be back x

The only thing that could be improved was the WiFi signal wasn't quite strong enough, however we had good books to keep us amused!

Arrived to a very warm welcome, it is a lovely place in a great location. Room had everything we could need and the separate lounge area outside was the perfect place to unwind in the evening. Ample parking space

The place is beautiful, the garden is incredible everywhere you looked there was something different that caught your eye, the bed was comfortable bathroom was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a night or 2 away from reality. Also the owners were lovely couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as perfect as possible. Nothing it was perfect in every way .

This property is a very high standard and is absolutely stunning and the attention to detail is beautiful . It’s so very quiet, quaint and enchanting. It’s a little hidden haven. It very private and has a separate little bar area with seating that is a lovely touch and also a sitting area on a large private patio area at the rear . It also has two double patio doors that open out from the room onto the patio area . It has everything and more you could want and my partner and i absolutely loved it. There is lots of places to eat near by also pubs, restaurants and little cafes.. The owner was so lovely and welcoming and we felt utterly at peace and chilled from the moment we arrived . Nothing was to much trouble and we felt very at home. I can honestly say it’s one of the best stays we’ve had by far and we regularly take little breaks . Such value money for all you get with this stay. It was so clean and had everything you would require . I can honestly find not one fault . Thank you so much for an amazing stay . And we’ll done for making such a wonderful little haven .
