Nothing that the hotel could change, but on street parking was a little bit of a lottery.

Loved virtually everything about the Resolution Hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great view. Our only minor grouse, because the room was small, storage was limited. Meals were outstanding with the full English breakfast, exceptional. Will definately be returning.

The whirlpool bath could have been bigger especially for a couple as the bathroom was big enough & robes would have added that extra touch

We didnt have breakfast, the room was a little dusty, toilet roll was cheap kind and bathroom handle was broken which we did report to reception on leaving.

The bed was comfy, the view was lovely, decor was nice, bathroom nice fittings and nice spacious shower.

It wasn’t that we disliked anything but a set of drawers in the room would have been a great help. Didn’t enjoy the breakfast as much as the evening meal, the full English, I prefer tinned tomatoes even though half a tomato looks better on a plate.

We came years ago and stayed on the same room. Room 7 the upgrade is fantastic, taken the hotel to another level! Very classy. We are in the new restaurant The Vault, just wow fantastic food. The huge bath in our room, wow, I fetched my white company bubble bath and dove in! Pure bliss.

Several scuffs on walls and bathroom extractor fan not working (only stayed one night so did not raise this issue). Also no aircon (not that this was advertised either) but a window was able to be opened where some hotels don’t allow first & second floor room windows to be so, and a small fan is also provided.

Rooms were clean and accommodating with enough facilities for the price given The Resolutions’ excellent central location - with free nearby parking that saved extra expense (factored in for added value). The Vault Restaurant and Bar was good value for money and all 3 members of our trip thoroughly enjoyed their evening meal and breakfast - even accommodating a takeaway sandwich for a member of the group who wasn’t ready to eat at breakfast. From calling to enquire about an early check-in and claiming a parking ticket early through to checkout, the staff were all pleasant and friendly.

I have stayed here before and I absolutely loved it, perfect location. So for my return stay I didn’t look for anywhere else I knew resolution was for me . Breakfast is yummy, rooms lovely, staff were faultless. Bar prices I was very impressed by! Will be booking a trip for next year with you

We have visited this hotel before and the make over it has had is really nice the rooms are lovely and we had two meals here in the restaurant and both were really nice and the breakfast lots to choose from definitely be returning .
