the only downside was yhat it was a very steep climb to the hotel from the centre of town, i have nothing else to tell you.

Everything went well, my room was good, comfortable bed, and the food was exellent,and the hotel was situated 250 yards from the town centre, and plenty if shops near by, and the bus station was within walking distance.

The heating! It's ideal for winter, but the room was a little too warm for my liking. Although the heater was off in the room itself, the heated rail from the bathroom wasn't, and even with the bathroom door closed, you could still feel the heat. Wasn't able to turn it down as there was no switch or anything.

Loved the size of the room, the decor, but most of all the bed. The bed was super comfortable Had a lift to all floors, which was helpful, especially after all those hills I walked up and down. The bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, which meant I didn't need to go back down the hill for a drink or some food. Reasonably priced, too. I was made to feel welcome by all staff, and I felt at home, too.

Standard of food was as expected from previous stays excellent. The staff were always pleasant and helpful, both my wife and I could not be more happier with our stay at the resolution hotel. Our room was at a high standard of cleanliness.

For the price I would expect a fridge in the room. Also the view from one of the windows was spoiled by it being covered in Seagull droppings which seem to have been there some time.

Comfortable bed, clean roomy shower, excellent breakfast, lovely staff. Tea and coffee facility and TV. Good location. Parking scratchcard available.

Only down side and staff are aware and trying to their best to overcome the issue…. It’s hot not much air and the bedrooms are internal. It’s 18 century and listed , they are trying to get get air conditioning in but don’t let this small detail put you off as it’s 100% fabulous and breakfast and the staff 👌

Noisy pipes and bread at breakfast.

The staff were all clean , capable and friendly . We were really pleased with the room but we should stayed in a room with a king size bed not the double ...our fault . The plumbing work from adjoining rooms was really , it disturb our sleep and I even thought of asking for another room . We both slept better the 2nd night. We had evening meal the 1st night and the food was excellent 👌. Was pleased to see that it was proper coffee at breakfast. English breakfast had good bacon and black pudding and butchers sausage , fresh mushrooms and tomatoes and a perfectly poached egg . The bread wasn't nice bread thought ...shame that .

The appearance of the hotel from the outside isn't great but that didn't matter once you were inside.

The location was excellent, close to everything. The room was fabulous, the bathroom in particular. Breakfast very good too. All of the staff we met were friendly and professional

The bed was a little hard for one of us, perfect for the other

Very quiet, comfortable room with all desired facilities. Perfect location for a short walk into the harbour.

For the price of the room we were a little surprised to find no mini fridge in the huge room!! Another thing that i would expect for the price and the fact that we had a bath tub in the room was that there was no robes nor slippers, i would expect for the price £270 per night that this would have been standard. Breakfast!! we did it once and ate else where the second morning, I'm not going to go into too much detail but the quality of the food was very poor.

Very small sink in room.

Great breakfast choice and friendly staff. Hotel in good position. Nice view from room over marina and Abbey. Good shower powerful.
