Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe bathroom could do with deep cleaned in particular the shower which could do with having the grouting cleaned or replaced, the sink could do with a new plug hole and a toilet roll holder added to the wall. The bedside lights didn't work and on closer inspection needed light bulbs as they were missing. The TV remote once it had batteries still didn't work, but the buttons on the side of the TV did. The room as a whole looked like it could do with a refurbishment.
The location to Stratford Station was really good and the property was easy to find. The staff behind the bar were helpful and friendly when booking me into and showing me to my room, which was on the top floor. The bed was really comfortable and the size of the room was great. The remote for the TV was missing batteries, but replacements were provided once it was reported to them.

United KingdomGenerally untidy. Hot tap loose (had to hold the tap and rotate as whole thing turned otherwise). Shower door didn't close properly due broken runners. Bathroom blind filthy with London grime and had to close each strip by hand as the string controls had snapped. Note window was nearly floor to ceiling and faced a block of flats - prime voyeurism opportunity opposite.
Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Local pub and very reasonably priced too. Cheap and cheerful in prime location.

Great location for concert at Olympic stadium, comfy beds, free parking. Really friendly lady greeted us on arrival and showed us to the room. Nice to grab a drink from the pub on arrival.

United KingdomHotel from the outside looked very tired and shabby. Room was also very tired looking. Bathroom had been decorated but the standard of decoration was very poor. There were blobs of dried paint on all the bathroom furniture. With just a little attention to detail it could have been so much nicer.
Bedding and towels were clean. The staff were lovely, really friendly and so helpful.

United KingdomThis is a room above a good old fashioned East end pub which has seen better days- location is superb and you can park your car at the back- ideal for going to the London stadium- room was small but clean- staff were friendly and helpful-don't be put off by the look of it from the outside- it's not the lap of luxury but ideal for someone on their own looking for a cheap bed for the night

United KingdomGreat value for money. Excellent host. Excellent location for shopping, restaurants and entertainment being in walking distance to Westfield. As well as excellent travel options being close to Stratford station. I sadly didn't make use of the bar as I had to revise for an exam the following morning but it looked good and sizable. Comfortable bed and good enough shower room. If I need to stay in the area again I will be back here. The host was kind enough for me to leave my car in the carpark the following morning whilst I took my exam for which I am grateful and simplified my travel arrangements.
