I expected a large double and got a standard double and the mattress was a bit soft. This meant my husband and I sloped slightly to the middle of the bed at night, which wasn’t very comfortable.

The driveway and car park are showing signs of the recent heavy rain but this wouldn’t stop us from staying again, a few bits just need patching. :)

Rooms and restaurant are both decorated to a high standard, they look lovely. Out of the city centre for a calm and peaceful environment with a lovely flat walk beside the canal in to Lincoln itself.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean, spacious with all you need and plenty of facilities and despite being next to a main road was very quite. The location was a lovely spot and very convenient if you do not want to be centre of Lincoln but near by to get to main places, this place is ideal. The breakfast that came with price with the room was worth paying little extra for as was very tasty and clearly great quality produce. The dinner at restaurant was quite expensive but was to high standard with again very good quality produce and simple menu but will have something for everyone taste. The only thing I can say was the pork bon bon was bit dry but still tasty and everything else was cook perfectly and in good time ( should say place was quite so might contributed to quickness). If in the area again would stay here again!

We were told it was about a 15 minutes walk into the City Centre, it was in fact 45 minutes so we were a little more 'out of town' than we thought. We also found the booking in process strange.

Beautiful room, very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with a very good shower. The adjacent pub served excellent food with a very good choice.

Perfect place for a pre Christmas mini break. The breakfast was very tasty and quickly served. We ate in the pub in the evening. The food offered a great range with large portions. We loved being able to walk into Lincoln beside the canal!

I have no complaints overall, but I am a smoker and there was no where to put cigarette butts at the lodge, so I had to put them in the bin in my room, or walk over to the inn where there are ashtrays. Somewhere to smoke under cover would have been ideal. But that's the only criticism I have.

Lovely breakfast, really hot. I ate there one evening and the food was delicious. Friendly staff Comfy bed with lots of pillows.

Better signage on the main road leading to the hotel would help in locating the premises as Pyewipe is on a single track lane not entirely visible from the main road. The access path from Pyewipe Lodge to the main car park would benefit from improved lighting.

The location was good for visiting Lincoln. The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet. A good breakfast was available.

Beautiful location. Easy to get to and from the city, yet rural and peaceful. The room was great with twin double beds..that was a bonus. It was very comfortable and warm. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff.

Teeny tiny cups....in the room not good for a cup of tea....also at breakfast small cup...i like a mug of tea.....there was a really lumpy pillow and substantial cobweb by the shower... also no gf sausage but breakfast was lovely
