Stunning location and views. Staff lovely, attentive and food superb. Being a car free village made it peaceful, but with porters on hand and vehicles to pick you up drop you off to your car, it was lovely.

Breakfast choice was excellent. Views from our suite were brilliant, well equipped warm and comfortable. Portmeirion is totally unique.

We booked a suite at Castle Deudraeth but it was only a large room albeit with two sofas and a fireplace.

Breakfast was excellent. Evening meal was average. But we went to the Port Meirion hotel for two evening meals and there the food was extremely good.

Room was lovely in a great location near the hotel. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with a great range of hot and cold choices. Service was excellent all round. We loved being able to walk round the village in the evening

Meals didn't impress. Sorry, my husband ordered full breakfast, and it looked fantastic, so I ordered the same as the following day, and it was awful scrambled egg unbelievable needed to be eaten with a spoon it was so bitty and the black pudding was so dry I couldn't cut it 😢 our evening meal the starter of crispy duck egg was lovely but the steak was terrible and I'm sorry to say this but that's the truth

The highlight is being in he village of Portmeirion and you are left to absorb the atmosphere of the village. At times it can be busy, of course, and as most of the buildings are accommodation one has to be prepared for spending most of the time outside. This is, of course, one of its charms, but don't visit expecting there to be lots of activities to do - you just have to enjoy being there.

Great, comfortable room inn the heart of the village with fabulous views over the estuary. Really good breakfast. Food in the hotel restaurant was excellent for a special occasion. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Portmeirion is an exceptional setting, the rooms we had was perfectly clean and everything functioned extremely well. The view from our room was mind blowing.

Supper took way too long, we just wanted to eat and leave and it dragged on. We were a family having a meal not a couple on a date.

The staff were beyond attentive. The food was delicious. The Porters and their buggies made getting to and from our room with luggage seamless.

The village needs some renovation. Pricey. Room was comfortable but heat was difficult to turn down/off.

Kitchenette was not required. Kettle and fridge needn't be in a separate room. Room was always too warm. Was unable to turn underfloor heating down. Had to use fan that was provided. Unable to access Netflix and other channels that required Internet connection.

Suite with private living area. Large comfortable bed. Nice setting for dining room. Convenient parking.

Castle restaurant dinner was patchy, some dishes were delicious some were average/poor. TV reception very poor. Hot water in bathroom scalding.

Spacious room, beautiful location. Outstanding breakfast. Staff were exceptional particularly the buggy drivers and the lovely lady on the gate who gave us directions to Portmadog and then took us to the start of the path. Everyone was truly welcoming.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Portmeirion. Our accommodation was perfect and overlooked Battery Square in the village. We have stayed here before and will definitely be back 😊

The suite we had in the village was really lovely with lots of period pieces of furniture. Dinner at the castle wasd really good as was breakfast at the hotel. The gardens and walks are amazing. This time of year the camelias and rhododendrons are blooming and are so beautiful! I'd definitely recommend a visit.
