The room was upgraded free of charge to a large suite which was incredibly luxurious - the bathroom was something out of a spa! Bed was immensely comfortable and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The dinner menu was great and food was very high quality.

We were met by a lovely host who was very welcoming. Our room was outside in the Hen House and what a beautiful room it was. Spacious, clean and comfortable set within the gardens. Dinner was booked and the food was fantastic and great value for money. We also had breakfast included and you could tell it was fresh local produce. We really enjoyed our stay, great value for money, great location and great staff.

The only thing I can think of is that there were quite a few flies buzzing around in the bar area whilst we were having breakfast. I think this was more due to being close to the door than the area being unclean

We loved our stay here. From beginning to end the staff were lovely. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. It is in a great location if driving around Cornwall.

Canopy in ceiling cannot be covered, so when the sun rises the room is very light. The room is adjacent to a heatpump and staff area which can be noisy. Both problems could be reduced by installing a door between the seating and sleeping area (room 1). Also a door between sleeping area and bathroom prevents water vapor entering the sleeping area while showering. Bad wifi in seating area, good in sleeping area.

Bed was very nice. EV charging, for free! Very good restaurant Sitting area inside room. Nice large bathroom. Separate toilet. Nicely decorated

The rooms were very spacious, and the bathroom was huge. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and it was very quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant. Great value for money, great food, and very attentive staff. Drew was great.

What a little beauty this place is in Mitchell. Situation away from the busier towns but in the heart of getting to other areas very well. Stunning and tranquil. The architecture has a country feel to it but very delicately modern. Has a lot of outdoor space for a walk and to relax and also being connected with a fantastic bistro. The food on the evening was great and the breakfast served yet again with no fault. Everything was made with care and all staff were very welcoming, polite and attentive. If we are in the area again will rebook.

Room didnt have a great deal of light. Very small windows When we had dinner in bar area we were put in a small area behind a wooden wall and felt a little bit like outcasts!

Beautiful room, comfortable and well appointed. Lovely sheets and huge bed. Bathroom was gorgeous and loved the bath products. Loved the dog hampers, beds and bowls. Really nice touch.
