The location was brilliant and the house had all we needed for our reunion to celebrate 40 years since our graduation in Bath.

It’s not a dislike but a fair warning - there are a lot of stairs in the Paragon Townhouse and some are quite steep. Given the age of the property, it can also get a little chilly at night but the thermostat was easy to locate and we soon warmed up - each room is well stocked with cosy blankets if you need that little extra, and they had plug in heaters available.

We had such a comfortable stay at the Paragon Townhouse. As a group of eight girls celebrating our friend’s hen party, we chose the Paragon due to its proximity to the centre, size, charm, and welcoming hosts that were willing to accommodate. The location is amazing and a short walk away from all the action, with a small convenience store about a two minute walk away and a large Waitrose around five minutes down the road. Alternatively, we chose to book an Asda shopping delivery ahead of time, which was delivered to our door on our arrival. The hosts were very accommodating and in contact before our stay to ask about bed preferences (you can choose to have the rooms made up with single or double beds) and what colour milk we’d like for teas and coffees. On arrival, we found the house was stocked up with plenty of tea bags, coffee, biscuits, Prosecco, florentines, Easter eggs - you name it. Such gorgeous little treats from lovely hosts. The town house has many floors, with each room charmingly decorated, including many original features - which are an adorable touch. The kitchen is very well equipped, with just about every appliance, pot, pan and kitchen tool you could ever name. The Paragon is a perfect home away from home, close to amazing restaurants if you choose to venture out or perfectly set up for a dinner party or games night with friends if you prefer to stay in. All of the rooms were made up with pristine linens and the comfiest fluffy duvets, pillows, and mattresses. Everyone mentioned how well they slept. There were plenty of towels and toiletries in each bathroom, and just the right amount of showers and mirrors to keep a group of nine girls satisfied! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Paragon Townhouse, and would recommend to any group of friends or family looking to make their stay in Bath special.

There's nothing we didn't like but perhaps two points future travellers would want to consider: 1. There are a LOT of narrow, winding stairs which you totally expect in Bath but those with mobility challenges may struggle 2. When we went it was very cold / snowing and even with heating on and extra fan heaters we were still quite chilly given that the house is very old. There were blankets in the living room which were well used so just take a few jumpers if visiting in the colder months.

Fave things about the accommodation were: - The hosts - they were absolutely fantastic, friendly and really helpful / communicative in the build up to and during our stay. - Location - perfect for exploring Bath and all the sites easily on foot - Facilities - Good quality fixtures, fittings and utilities in the house. Lovely comfortable beds and cosy bed linen.

Was very cold when we got there and took a good 24 hours for house to warm up. Just be aware that there are alot of stairs so not good for the less able.

Very spacious and comfortable property in the heart of Bath. The townhouse was very well equipped, and the welcome basket was a lovely extra. The house is wonderfully quirky, and you certainly get your daily step count in up and diwn the stairs! Sandrine provided excellent communication prior to and during our stay.

Only a minor niggle; the kitchen is a bit on the dark side, even with the supplied lights. It is however in a cellar actually under the footpath and road so can't really complain! Also, be aware the house spans the steps between two popular streets and can get a little noisy on a Saturday night (it was Christmas!) All part of the charm.

Location was perfect for Bath centre. House full of character perfect for the city with a bit of history too. All you need for a large group stay for a few days. Warm and cosy. Sandrine was ever so attentive, especially for our Christmas stay

It was a little cold in the main living room but the hosts provided us with a fan heater which instantly made a big difference to the temperature.

Location was excellent and the property was a beautiful listed building, Jane Austen even lived next door! The hosts were extremely welcoming and very responsive to the few issues we had.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for my sister and I being older but it did us good.

It was exactly as the picture. Beautifully clean and furnished. The beds were so comfortable. Everything we needed to get us started was there including tea, coffee, milk and the ever necessary ice for our GnT.

The kitchen is dimly light and could do with better lighting. The windows are very difficult to open with sone not even able to open. it was very noisy at night with people shouting after leaving the bar nearby which did disturb our sleep . long climb to reach the top bedroom which is great if counting your steps🤪

The house is in a good location with easy walking distance to main attractions The house is well equipped with all you need. The beds could be made into singles which was great for our girlie weekend. Plenty of fresh towels /sheets. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and happy to recommend a local chef Siobhan from The Cook. Food tasted delicious and served with a smile . Amazing weekend 😊

Not much to dislike.

The house was very cozy and quirky, but very well kitted. It very easily accommodated 8 adults and 2 children and the house was lovely and warm which was very helpful when it was freezing outside
