The apartment was lovely. We highly recommend it and we will be pleased to come again! The location is perfect, close to the centre. We did not have to take the bus, we have just walked. The apartmet has a real spirit of a typical English house.

We loved every minute of our stay at the old wire factory. Like Bristol itself, it is quirky, arty & upside down with the living area upstairs. The area itself was extremely quiet yet only a short walk into the centre. It is spotlessly clean & beds are very comfy. I highly recommend a stay here & would come back in a heartbeat. Car parking was tight at times

Everything you could think of was provided, and all was warm, clean and working well. Nice touch with Amazon speakers on each floor. It's situated in an interesting area with multi cultural restaurants close by. Bristol is Banksy's home city and there's plenty of colourful street art in the area.

Didn’t feel safe in the area, lots of yelling outside, police attended twice so we stayed indoors.

The location was great for food places and walkability into town. The only downside was a few people on the corner who felt a little bit dodgy.

The area outside isn't the quietest, but it's very central. There is parking outside on the street but it's not guaranteed that you will find a space when you want to.

There is no free parking at the property. There is a Pay and Display bay opposite the apartment and the host provides a parking permit free of charge for the limited number of controlled parking areas in neighbouring roads. We had to park quite a way away up a steep hill.

The apartment is bright and airy with laminate-style flooring and modern decor. The kitchen area is very well-equiped and spacious and has sensible crockery. The lounge is comfortable and was plenty big enough for the two of us and there are enough chairs and equipment for four people. Lounge and kitchen are on the top floor, one bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Bed very comfortable, choice of pillows provided with different firmness. Good-sized bathroom with modern fittings and an excellent large walk-in shower, which was easy to control and use. Lots of towels provided. Sockets available in accessible places, good WiFi. The apartment was warm and cosy and there are multiple heating controls for the different areas. There are wardrobes with drawers in the bedrooms, small desk with chair, iron, ironing board, hairdrier provided. We really appreciated the thick good quality ceiling to floor curtains in the bedroom that cut out almost all the light at night. Neutral information: Town centre a flat 10-15 minute walk. 3 flights of stairs to access all parts of the apartment, low ceilings could be a problem for very tall guests, especially in the shower. We didn't watch TV and we didn't use the appliances apart from one hob, so can't comment on those.

The property is only a short walk to the centre and we felt safe walking around in the dark at the end of the day. We were expecting an apartment but this is a very special, 3 story, 2 bedroomed townhouse more than an apartment. The property has been decorated and fitted out to a high spec, not just making do for rental. I could see myself living there quite happily if I was lucky enough to own it. Tim, the owner, was lovely, friendly and answered questions very quickly. He even very kindly arranged for a parking permit for us, at no extra cost. We left at 9am but were able to stay until 12, which is also a very nice, unusual touch. I am very happy to reccomend this property for anyone visiting Bristol. Looking forward to visiting again.

Apart from unfounded preconceived ideas about the neighbourhood there wasn't anything I didn't like. There was fresh coffee and a cafetiere, the shower was lovely and the beds were some of the most comfortable that I have stayed in. I would recommend. The host Tim was very helpful re parking and responded quickly.

The house was lovely and on street parking was easy to find. The Google Street view of the property was not very welcoming however on arrival was not as bad as the Internet made it look. All the people in the locality were friendly.

No negatives. Parking was an in adjacent street, which was a steep walk away, not a problem for us, but something to be aware of.

Very comfortable, great views over the city from the cosy upstairs living room. Close to the city centre- possible to walk everywhere from the apartment. Good pubs and restaurants very nearby.
