room was a bit warm for us but this is personal choice as we prefer a cooler bedroom.

Lovely comfortable bed. Bath in room a luxury and good big shower. Very quiet and lovely views. Good for overnight stay. As no cooked breakfast personally wouldnt stay longer, however cold breakfast was provided and was quite healthy and homemade.

It was a wonderful place to stay in a fantastic location. The building was lovely and had great features. We were greeted friendlily by the owner and she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The winter duvet was a bit hot for August.

The room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The breakfast provided in my room was very good and even included fresh ground coffee.. The house was spacious and characterful. The garden was large with a croquet lawn and was beautifully maintained. The host was friendly and welcoming.

Although everything was good quality, breakfast was provided on a tray in our room. There was one choice of cereal , no toast , no pastries, no jam. I've also realised that i quite like to be with other guests at breakfast. The lighting in the room was a bit dull for us. Also the loo wouldn't always flush the first time, and took ages to fill, so there is some maintenance needed there. When we left there was no one around to say goodbye to.

I sent a message in advance of our stay for a dietary need and Our hosts went specially to get a particular Yogurt that my wife liked and was suitable for her, so that was a nice touch . Everything that we had was good quality and locally sourced. Every day some home made cake would appear. Also they provided extra cutlery and plates for us to have a salad in our room for our evening meal (we get fed up of eating out every night). There was a fridge in which fresh fruit and/or berries and fruit juices would appear every day. We loved the rolled edge bath, shower and the bed which was very comfortable. We loved the beautiful flowers that our hosts left in our room every day or so, the country view and the garden.

Door to room had no lock. Breakfast - make your own: fridge with cereal, milk, fruit, yoghurt. No actual stand-up shower. The hand-held was pitiful.

Cold on arrival - fortunately we were going out for the evening and it had warmed up by the time we got back. Bland decor. Didn’t feel welcoming. And the toilet wouldn’t shut properly.

This was v last minute & chosen simply because of location (we decided to break a journey). Arrived on time but outside property for about 10 mins ringing bell with no answer. No mobile coverage but picked up wifi standing outside front door & messaged to say we'd arrived. Host finally arrived & then proceeded to talk to us on doorstep (we'd been outside for nearly 15 mins at that point). Received apology later. Room (in photos) lovely. Arrived back later & towel rail making racket which you could hear in bed. Couldn't turn it off & unsure how to contact hosts. Every so often made extraordinary racket but did manage to get to sleep. Breakfast - weren't particularly concerned but disappointed at lack of choice - all too sweet for us. Would have appreciated even a choice of fruit juice & some cereal/granola.

Lovely property in beautiful part of the country. Large, comfortable room. Very private.

The Old Vicarage is a beautiful, period property which is tastefully decorated and very clean. Our room had a roll top bath and a huge, comfy bed. We had breakfast in the room which was a lovely homemade banana bread with yogurt and granola and a variety of tea bags with a cafeteria of coffee and some fresh orange juice. The room overlooked the garden and just had a wonderful calm feel. We would definitely recommend
