An amazing and somewhat unique place to stay.

We were told that the hosts may have plans to make a part of the old station platform available to guests. This would be a valuable enhancement to the accommodation.

There were so many things to like but the nature of the property (a former railway station) made our stay quite unique. Our host Mike further enhanced our stay by sharing details of the station's history. Together with Debbie, we had the perfect hosts.

    There was nothing!

The novelty of stopping in an old train station was a hit, especially for my two children. The history and theme are well thought out whilst still being comfortable and not over the top. The self-catering facilities in this property were fantastic. The master bedroom had a massive bed, with my husband being 6ft 5, we needed the extra length that we don't always get when away from home. All the rooms were beautifully decorated. The hosts were friendly, approachable, but not intrusive. The level of cleanliness is outstanding. It is the cleanest place I have ever stayed, not a speck of dust to be found!

You do need a car to get to the beach due to crossing a main road

Property is beautiful and has been fitted out beautifully. Location is lovely and handy for quieter beaches and nature reserves as well as busier and more lively locations

Tuesday as it rained however if you do have small children Fred’s Barn 10 mins down the road we highly recommend for a rainy day activity

Location was perfect the property was amazing we took our grandchildren who were 5 & 8 they loved adding their names on the chalk board on arrival and matins tour on the history behind the building and were super excited to be staying at the Old Station Wells next to the sea is a 30 minute drive away and what a gem of a beach to visit on a nice sunny day We wished we had booked a longer break as there was so much more to do and see

    Nothing.

Lovely restored old station building. Good location in quiet village, with a Co-op and bus stop within walking distance. (10-15 minutes). Enjoyed the welcome goodies left by Debbie, who met us on arrival and showed us round. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area and have already recommended to some friends.

There is nothing to dislike , beautifully decorated , spotlessly clean with lovely owners.the only reason we can’t give it 10/10 is because there is no private outside space at the moment.

There was nothing to dislike about Station House. It was clean, quiet, beautifully and newly decorated. The attention to detail was apparent, even down to a charming logo on the coat hangers. The house was well equipped and location perfect.

The Old Station in Snettisham was a delightful property in a secluded and quiet location. The house itself used to be the original railway station and Debbie and Martin have gone to great lengths to acquire features befitting the property. The location was in very easy reach of Sandringham, the magnificent beach and town of Hunstanton and the rugged beach of Snettisham (easily within walking distance). Debbie and Martin are wonderful hosts and and even included a welcome hamper which was a very nice touch. I could not fault my stay there.

Not a problem for us but be aware that as this was previously the railway station it served both the village (about 20 minutes walk to village centre / pubs / co-op) and the beach (about 40 minutes the other way).

Fantastic characterful accommodation but very practical with modern adaptations (like a TV that wouldn't have been in the station originally). Lovely tea room / café for breakfast next door if required and ice cream / further café on a small retail park across the road.
