The bath/shower was a bit small, but that is a feature of the architecture. However, a shower curtain would have been good to help prevent splashing the bathroom floor whilst washing.

A very quiet and relaxing room, perfect to return to after a busy day of meetings.

The shower was the only negative, its really a bath with a low level shower head.

Beautiful house and room. Old cottage/farm house setting really nice. Great room size and comfy bed. Breakfast was basic but plentiful with self service fruit, cereal and toast.

Nothing bad to say about our stay.

The owner was unable to serve breakfast herself but she laid it all out for us and there was a very good choice. This only worked because we were the only ones in the hotel but for us, on the day, it was fine and good value. We were there in early December and the property and bedrooms were a little cold as the heating was not the most efficient. We were made to feel most welcome and overall good value for the money.

I would have had to be about 2'6" high to get under the shower (not exaggerating!) but there has to be some trade offs for staying in a place of this age and character. The only other observation was it was a bit hard to find, as its tucked away, some signs on the road and clear indication where to park would have made it easier (especially as it was dark because of time of year)

The building is stunning and steeped with history, I would have like a longer stay and at the time of year you could get the best from the location.

No tea making facility in room. Didn’t eat breakfast as milk one day out of date, bread two days and the weetabix went out of date last year.

I wouldn't let it put you off if you're thinking about staying here as the building is really wonderful, but the lack of space in the shower was a bit awkward, especially if you have mobility or flexibility concerns. Not a deal breaker for me, but i coudlnt get the wifi to work too.

I was unable to pay with my credit card, the lady asked for cash. i was unable as i do not carry cash. Her card reader was broken. I am still yet to pay for the hotel.

Not a dislike but just a tip for others. Due to the nature of the old (but beautiful) building, as a tall person you are better of having a bath - otherwise you’ll need to kneel to wash your hair in the shower.

The host was lovely & incredibly accomodating. Breakfast was also provided with access to amenities should you wish to have something different.

You couldn't stand up in the shower unless you were around 4' 6"!! No hair dryer was available or coffee and tea facilities in the bedroom. The breakfast was OK but only continental.

Quirkiness of the building and the garden eas fabulous. The owner was lovely.
