Felt a bit like we were intruding and were told off for using the wrong door and entrance into the restaurant. Barman in the evening was a bit frazzled.

Beautiful old hotel - so much character. Able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy a quiet beverage. Lovely meals but they did run out of the roast of the day.

Nice, comfortable stay at a lovely old inn - our room was spacious and well decorated with a lovely view and great en-suite bathroom. The food in the evening was fairly basic pub grub but very well priced so great value and good service. Excellent breakfast too 👍

Being rushed out of the dining room at 9.40am while having breakfast because the cleaners were needing to get in there to clean. Bizarre. They need to spend more time making the bedrooms presentable.

A little more central heating would have been appreciated, as it was quite cool in the bedroom. Windows rattled almost all night, but we appreciate that it was very windy and on speaking to a member of staff, she was prompt in putting two wedges to stop the windows rattling.

Excellent breakfast. Friendly, prompt service. Huge bedroom - bed very comfortable.

The hot water was a little finicky but the employee quickly fixed this when the room beside us addressed this issue.

The main employee was amazing. He checked us in brought us up all while also working the bar. Very kind and helpful gentleman
