N/A - I simply couldn't fault a single thing as every aspect about the stay was simply top class!

Probably one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at in this country. The venue was incredible and you could see just how well the grounds were being cared for. The room and the view were really nice with the staff being incredibly friendly and helpful too. The breakfast was simply amazing - absolutely top class stay which I would recommend to anyone!

We loved the offer of free cake, however the flies had free range on it, needed a glass cover to protect it. Room was lovely, with a beautiful bath, though the other half got stabbed by a dodgy plug chain which was sticking up out of the plug end.

We chose the Old Hall, due to its location and proximity to Ely. Parking was no problem at all, beautiful gardens though mind the geese poo.

Very small TV compared to the size of the room. Also restaurant lacked variety and not many staff present.

We loved the decor, grounds and the views from the hotel. Each room had its own unique design which was lovely. The bathrooms were very grand and the use of robes was lovely!

It was a unique experience not having a kettle in my room…..

Breakfast was fine with the caveat that, given the quality of your hotel and staff (all exceptional) having to drink Coffee from a Nespresso machine is not good. Please consider offering good fresh coffee

We were very disappointed that the restaurant in the evening only offered grazing boards. As this was not at all what we wan’t to celebrate our 40th anniversary we had to hire cabs into Ely then back.

Breakfast was too early finishing at 9am. Also would have been nicer to have a checkout time later than 10am.

Struggling to come up with anything to be honest. We turned the TV in for a couple of minutes and noticed that it wasn't a great picture, but that's all I can think of.

Cromwell Suite is very special as a treat. Lovely staff and surroundings, we hope to return at some point.

After a long day traveling we were disappointed dinner was not available in the restaurant. Only restaurants available were in Ely which is a short drive.

Beautiful property on beautiful grounds. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Lovely views. Breakfast was wonderful.

(I am a tea drinker and so…) Whilst I could have requested a kettle for the room, as the sign explained, it would have been helpful if the situation of requesting one was explained when I was shown to the room. (I would have done it at that point). Also a USB charging socket was missed.

Room with balcony view Decor of room, colour scheme and quality of bedding Gardens and flowers superb Welcome and friendliness of staff, everyone said hello and were curious about your stay, plans, visit even those just walking into start their working day.

Although very impressive bedroom suite, the TV was not very big so could not see it very clearly with-out moving the chairs closer, the blinds are not wide enough to cover the windows and breakfast finishes promptly at 9am, I appreciate as explained they need to prepare for Sunday lunch, but other hotels are able to offer later weekend breakfast that also offer Sunday lunch. We are not people who are late up, but felt not fully relaxed to make sure we are comfortably with-in the time allocated, shame as it is a lovely hotel.

Fantastic tastefully renovated period building, great views towards Ely, well maintained impressive grounds, large bedroom nicely furnished. Overall luxury feel to the whole property. Good food well presented both breakfast and diner.

There was quite a lot of light in the morning, in the room, despite having closed the blinds. The signalling inside the hotel looks a bit dated and cheap. It would be an easy fix and it would look glorious. The food in the restaurant (for dinner) was okay, we did not find it brilliant, and we found a bit weird that the food was served with white gloves.

The staff was lovely, the location is beautiful, the building looks fantastic and feels homely and cosy. It was immaculately clean. We were upgraded to a lovely room with a bath, for free. There is a coffee machine in the room, and a selection of teas and coffees. The breakfast was really nice too, despite having limited buffet options. The menu was varied and the food was really good. We would definitely strongly recommend it.
