It was spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable best night sleep we’ve had in along time. The pub was traditional and busy everyone was really friendly. The staff were absolutely lovely

It’s was a little noisy, but to expected staying above a pub.

The staff were very polite and friendly. The room was not the Hilton. However it’s nice clean place to get your head down. Handy to have pub downstairs to get a few well deserved drinks.

They aren't serving breakfast anymore. Their website says "bed & breakfast" and describes the breakfast, but when we got there they said they they are no longer serving. We felt misled.

The room was very small but very comfortable. Even though it was loud in the bar you couldn't really hear it in the room.

One staff member who was working through the night was screaming at another customer for having their tv too loud and had woke me up. They were swearing and shouting really loud which I felt was really unprofessional.

Not clear on the booking that it's above a pub that plays live music till 12 midnight so not ideal for someone who might want to get a early night, luckily for us we got back around 11pm and was eating our takeaway so didn't mind the loud live music but there is no way you could sleep through it when it's on as room directly above.

Nice clean & spacious room with twin beds that were very comfortable. Room was a bit cold on arrival but we just turned the radiators up and was warm enough by time we got back later in the evening after going out. Ensuite nice and clean & mini toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, soap bar and conditioner provided). Would highly recommend, really great value for money.

My room had spare beds/mattresess stacked in it which wasn't the end of the world as I was a solo traveller in a twin room staying for one night but if I had been staying for longer I wouldn't have been that happy about it.

Convenient location for wedding venue. Helpful staff when hairdryer broke. Wasn't too noisy from the pub downstairs.

The only downside was the location. It's a car or taxi if you're planning on doing stuff in central Sheffield.

£95 without a breakfast is too much, didn’t sleep as it was so noisy, people walking around all night, I shouldn’t be able to hear tem he guy next door snoring but that’s all I heard.

What a nice surprise our stay was. We originally booked somewhere else but had to change reservations, and therefor didn´t expect much. The Old Crown Inn is every tourists wet dream: Down to earth, and affordable for smaller budgets, too, it has a well-frequented pub downstairs that serves really nice beer, and comfy, clean and lovingly set up rooms upstairs. Motivated and extremely friendly staff. It´s older and appears a bit ran down, but that´s only adding to the charm, since everything´s well kept. We didn´t eat there and therefor can´t say anything concerning the menu.

The staff, landlady all really welcoming and looked after us. The quirky rooms in the backyard that we stayed in were different. Was private to ourselves. They let us stay past check out which was nice.

The property has entertainment on till about 1 in the morning which is rather loud and you can hear it in the room, The room also had dust in places but we was only there for one night so that didn’t bother us too much. The property advertises it is a bed and breakfast but apparently they don’t do breakfasts anymore. I think that was a downfall especially as we booked knowing it was a bed and breakfast so we didn’t have to try find somewhere in the morning.

The property was about 10mins drive away to where we needed to be and not too far from local shops and a few takeaways. The room we stayed in was big enough for the 3 of us and had a kettle and tv in the room.
