Feather pillows would have been nice but I appreciate that some folk would not agree. As property is single storey it is bound to be chosen by disabled travellers thus grab rails in the excellent shower would be useful.

Our host had thought of everything to make your visit comfortable and pleasurable. Fresh fruit and chocs, fresh milk, ice in the fridge, toilet roll, kitchen roll, hairdryer etc all provided. Good size towels and quality bedding.

We love it here , third time returning and it’s always a little haven . The holiday home has been beautifully and sympathetically restored and always feels so homely . Jan and her husband are lovely people who don’t intrude at all but are about if you need them .

We loved everything! We received a heartwarming welcome from Jan to the wonderful place. The apartment is clean, spacious, very well equipped and lovely decorated. It felt like home. Would love to stay much longer. Highly recommended!

Lovely clean property which was perfect for our needs as a family of four. Beds are super comfortable and there is a huge space outside for the children to run around in. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, and our children loved playing with their dog! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Cowstall had been really well renovated and offered a fabulously clean, comfortable and pretty accommodation! The beds and bedding were especially clean and comfortable, ensuring a good nights sleep. Jan provided a lovely welcome pack and the views over the field is charming, especially when the chickens are running around at breakfast time.

We loved everything about our stay! The hosts were fantastic with a very warm welcome and the thoughtful things left for us to indulge in was a lovely touch. Thank you! The accommodation was perfect for what we wanted and we most definitely will be making this our go to property when we are back in the area!

The attention to detail was lovely. Fresh flowers, fruit, chocolates, milk tea and coffee all left for you. Also shampoo, shower gel etc available to use. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with good quality furnishings, bedding and towels. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Our grandsons loved the garden with a football goal and ball to use. Parking right next to the property, great instructions given to help find the house easily. We all hope to be back soon.

Everything was perfect

Paul met us at the gate as we arrived, showed us where to park and then showed us all around the property. He had designed the conversion of the cowstall and it couldn’t have been better. It was spacious, tastefully decorated but homely. We had everything we needed during our stay, we had a welcome bowl of fruit, some biscuits, milk in the fridge, chocolates and a little jar of local honey. Jan and Paul were kind, friendly and very helpful, we were very happy with our stay.

What a fabulous place. There is real attention to detail with fruit, honey, biscuits and milk left for us. There were freshly cut flowers and the whole place really comfortble and well equiped. worth noting that twin room is very adeqate for adults as some places only provide childrens beds. Beds were very comfortable. Jan was very helpful and most welcoming. We would definately book again.

Great variety of lighting options in main sitting area but confusing switches

The hostess was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome, accommodation is very well equipped and comfortable, especially liked the thick towels, heated towel rail, plenty of hanging and storage space, lovely outdoor space, little extras to make us feel welcome
