There was a sign for the fire exit in the bedroom, and the green light stayed on all night, which was a bit annoying as it made getting to sleep a bit difficult. That may be part of local fire regulations, but I haven't encountered this before.

It all went very smoothly. Reception and check-in were excellent. The room was quiet, clean and cosy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy and the shower was easy to use. Breakfast was delicious, but was not included in the price of the room. The bar had a good selection of beers, including 4 hand-pumped real ales. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made the stay most enjoyable. If I need accommodation in this area again, I would be delighted to stay here.

downsides there is a emergency bulkhead in room so if you like it dark you’re out of luck, laminate flooring throughout the accommodation block so noise levels from other guests and maid were a nightmare, need some carpet/rugs to dampen noise from other guests. Pillows a bit hard/lumpy

I used the location to meet two friends. We ate in the bar area and the meals we had were good. The breakfast was good value and there was a good atmosphere to the property. Very quiet at night, the mattress was firm and comfortable and I slept well on it. The room was comfortable and clean. Very pleased with everything.

Room was a little cold but not really a problem. Some noise from other rooms, dogs barking.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for South Eastern Coventry, just outside the city. Rural location so quiet.

Dinner was average, one meal came with a couple of key ingredients missing and no explanation as to why.

Very comfortable room, good size, nice accommodation block separate from the pub. Everything very clean. Very quiet location, was silent overnight (and this was a Saturday). Good if not particularly generous breakfast. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

Evening meal . Eating at 6pm . Our first 3 choices were not available . Due to a busy day .This has happened before on two other occasions . The food we did receive was not of a great standard . My hunters chicken was very over cooked . It looked liked it had been microwaved . The starter was overcooked . Which made the calamari very hard to eat . The whole experience was not good .

The double bed was a little on the small side. There was a boiler failure which meant no hot water on arrival, although his was remedied the same evening.

Quality of dinner was very good. It was VERY dog-friendly with a large grassy are to exercise our working cocker spaniel. The rooms were light and airy.

Nothing really, however if I was being picky I would say not having plugs close by to the mirrors is always a pain ( when need to use straightners or the hairdryer). Likewise, there were no plugs by the beds (but this was a problem for my son and not me).

The rooms were spacious, clean, and what appeared freshly decorated (as were all the communal spaces). The beds were really comfy also. The biscuits were a nice touch. Breakfast was really enjoyable and a nice selection to choose from. All the staff that we encountered appeared friendly. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The shower was a bit hit and miss temperature wise with the water suddenly going cold and then changing eratically.

We liked the accommodation block and felt happy with the security system. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable with good facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

The rooms where very clean. The property has a very large parking and is situated in a very quite area. Food was really good. Will surely visit again. It is dog friendly but if you do not want to stay near dogs, they have a section where dogs are not allowed.

Other residents letting doors slam ... not the hotels fault but not impressed at being woken up by other people's bad manners.
