You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomIt was hard to find because when we typed in the name of the hotel on Google maps it was taking us to the wrong place. Eventually found the address on Booking.com and used that. Our room was at the front so it was a little noisy early morning from the main road.
The beds were super comfortable. The room was clean enough. The receptionist was really helpful.

United KingdomThere wasn't much I didn't like. The New Athena wasn't what I expected, in that it's better than basic, but still quite basic because you get a code, you may see staff, but largely its a self service, non-host hotel (which generally suits me. I expected the place to feel cosier. However I wasn't put off totally. I was petrified that I would forget my code, expecially not seeing the owners contact number in any prominent position in the common parts.
I felt the code system to get into the premises was abolutely excellent, especially if you ensure you don't leave your room, without the details in your pocket. I felt a great deal of effor goes into the New Athena. The room overall was really fine. Presentable. Clean shower and toilet. The bed was very comfortable and where I stayed at the time I stayed was extremely quiet. The common parts also felt tidy. I especially loved the fact that despite keeping prices so very low, there is a common room with free tea and coffee, wihch seemed underused though at my time there. Also a microwave was available, which was clean and there was at least disposable cleaning cloth for spillages. I had a great two day stay and would make it a go to destination to stay at!

United KingdomThe room was tidy but the cleaners need to learn to clean behind units & check in the draws, the draws were full of dirt & dust & the carpets need to be hoovered more often, also a empty wrapper was left in the shower by previous people, proves the shower area wasn't checked, duvet cover was also dirty. Also the website needs to make it clearer regarding tea/ coffee, was told there was a kettle in the room, but was no kettle, tea/coffee was infact free on ground floor which was inconvenient when your on 3rd floor
