The stairs were a killer on the top floor but worth it when you got there lol . No dislikes everything was perfect

Never saw staff which was ok with us but good communication about the stay . Was a lovely room and parking was good . Will definitely return

Absolutely nothing!

Just about to leave from a 2 night stay and gutted it has come to and end. My room was clean and comfy, the information folder is very useful. Emails received before arrival with clear instructions to enter property. Theres a cupboard with a lock designated to your room in the kitchen. Honestly nothing to fault at all :-). Nice walk into city centre didnt take long at all.

The room and house was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need, also for a long stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended accomodation!!!

Enjoyed my stay.... If I had to really find SOMETHING....it would be the small point of not being able to park at venue when I returned late at night. However, there was limited spaces, I was aware of thus potentially...and I was able to park on the road, about 10 houses down...but it did not upset my stay AT ALL. I loved my stay here!!

Stayed at the Mayfair for 2 nights. Beautiful room, quiet and very clean. Grateful for the emails just before arrival. Would definitely recommend and plan to return again in the near future. Thank you Mayfair ❤️

We had not realized that our room was on the 3rd US floor (2nd EUR, without elevator) which was tough since we had very heavy suitcases. We would have appreciated a map of the area (there was only a 2019 city guide in a corner).

We liked the style of the house and our room, and that there is a large communal kitchen that is well equipped. It is a quiet neighborhood, about 10 minutes to the train station.

Nothing really, limited parking but I had no problem

Clean, comfortable, quiet. The best B&B in Southampton. Unlike so many places, I was actually able to get a good night's sleep here. Would definitely stay again.

tap water doesn’t taste very nice i guess it’s the city. other guests really loud and annoyed me a bit kitchen can be more organised to be perfected though

such a big kitchen, can do a lot in there although i only boiled some dumpling the room can be completely dark with curtain, gave me super sleeps decoration is comforting, bedroom and bathroom big and nice

My daughter stayed. She said it was so clean and lovely. Comfortable bed and a lovely king-size Room It's the second time she's stayed here. Both photos are of the room . Great communication with owners. Think it's my turn to stay here!! ;))

They had a washing machine, but no dryer.

The room was lovely, but we had 29 steps to take the suitcases up to the room.

Nothing to complain about. Very happy all round.

Procedure for arriving late and entry worked brilliantly. Easy to contact proprietor for queries. Easy parking close by if their own parking is full.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a good shower in the en suite. The kitchen was excellent and well equipped, with lockable cupboards and ample fridge space.

Limited car parks to 3 and street parking busy. We ended up using the Vets car park (across the road) at night but ensured the car was moved before they opened.

Great kitchen, you have a lockable cupboard per room so you can store your food and cook if you want to. Enough room in the fridges too. Lounge is pretty comfy too if you do not want to stay in your room.

If you have difficulties with or don't like walking, then you might find the location a bit inconvenient. That was no problem for me.

A great base if you're visiting or working in Southampton, located within reasonable distance of the train station, city centre, and shops and other services in the suburb of Shirley. Built and furnished with quality wirh the added advantage of kitchen, lounge, and dining area for self catering. Helpful staff.

Very cozy house, exceptionally clean. Nice and timly communication with hosts. Neighborhood was safe and nice (had to leave at 4.30 a.m and it was ok to walk). And they got irons and ironing boards!
