Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The Marloes is a hidden gem located on a quiet street within short walking distance to the Earls Court underground. The very nice refurbished flat is small but with a large bathroom and shower. A full kitchen with complimentary coffee, butter, apples and bread to go with it. Two large TVs with an abundance of channels and smart TV functionality. Staff was very service minded and friendly. A perfect place for a short stay in London that is highly recommended. Will definitely come back again.

United KingdomMaybe a full length mirror and make up mirror would be handy but what it was there already was great.
Excellent property . Specious and very good facilities. Water , milk and apples were waiting for us inside the property. Stayed in many locations in London but this place was so good that I will definitely come back again. Beds were very comfortable and linen very soft and better quality to many other places I have seen. Parking at Tesco reasonably charged and very close to the property. Excellent location. Would recommend to anybody who is looking to stay in London and want more than just a small room in a hotel. Here you get proper kitchen , very specious bathroom with very big shower plus a sofa bed in a separate room is available as well ready made when you arrive in the evening .

The staff were welcoming, the decor was perfectly suited to the location, the apartment was spotless and had everything you’d need for a home from home stay. The bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Love it and will definitely stay again.

Super location 5 minute walk from tube station and 5 minutes from large supermarket. Bed comfy. Kitchen extremely well appointed - fridge, freezer, coffee make, toaster, kettle, washing machine, dishwasher, oven , hob, microwave. Likes the separate little lounge area. Helpful staff

EgyptRoom is too small to fit 4 (as advertised), no space to move around at all with the sofa bed open, no space for luggage. Bathroom was clean but poorly designed/equipped - for example no counter top or shelf to hold even the toothbrush (pretty basic expectation).
