The rooms were spacious but lacked cosiness for a British Inn. A more suitable desk for working at and perhaps a rug in the rooms would make it feel more homely as opposed to a generic hotel room. More character please, we have so much in our UK pubs to share.

The room was new and spotlessly clean. The staff was cheery and helpful. Dinner in the inn was delicious. Very surprising for such an out of the way spot. Breakfast (included) was fantastic. Vegetarian options as well smoked salmon. Fantastic value!

Phone signal locally was difficult to get

Great place to stop the night before a ferry crossing from Dover, only 10 to 15 minutes away. The staff were friendly and helpful and we ate in the pub on arrival, had a beautiful Sunday roast, food was great. The room was excellent for a nights stay with convenient parking, would recommend

Comfortable, modern ensuite room within barn conversion in the grounds. Peaceful location, lovely gardens. Excellent food, all prepared from fresh ingredients. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff..We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My only moan is the breakfast times. Limited window of 9am to 930 am. I was provided with a continental breakfast tray in lieu as i had to leave before that time. The tray was really poor...single serving of rice crispies, a banana, and a small pastry . I left hungry.

Really enjoyed staying here. Rooms are modern out houses really well done and clean and tidy. Very comfortable and cosy. I ate in the pub and the food was good, well priced and not your typical pub grub. Some really good menu options. Staff were friendly and atmosphere fun. Genuinely a great place to stay.

Only thing was portion sizes too big to allow for three courses! Was gutted to not have room for a pudding! A mini fridge in room would be useful for milk given for breakfast in our room next morning.

Beautiful accommodation, well decorated throughout to a very high standard. Beautiful pub garden with stunning views. Food was exceptional. Lovely touch being able to have breakfast tray in our room.

From start to the end we felt very much looked after, the staff and food were exceptionally good, the room was perfect for us, clean and all was provided. The room was very warm and would not cool down after turning off the underfloor heating. The thermostat were unclear if still on or off. Thank goodness there was a fan that really worked.

The evening meal in the cosy pub was superb. The breakfast, too, was excellent, with a choice of full English, smoked salmon, and scrambled eggs—all cooked to order.

The unit was cozy and clean, and we were able to park right in front. We were leaving too early in the morning to have breakfast at the pub, so the staff left us a generous portion of snacks for the road. Taking the bus into Canterbury was highly convenient.
