Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomJust asked for more butter which was no issue at all
I loved the extra touches in the bathroom of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There was a dishwasher in the kitchen too. The homemade bread went down a treat also.

Really cute place. Lovely setting a little off the beaten track. Very good restaurant next door, but hard to get reservations, so book early. Very helpful owner. No Breakfast, but they did leave a freshly baked loaf, Jam and coffee/tea.

United KingdomLocation, Location, Location - superb. Such a beautiful, restful place to stay, but still with good wi-fi, (which for us was a consideration). So quiet away from our usual busy days, listening to the owls at night, sitting on the veranda enjoying the last few warm evenings of early October.

Lovely property, very cosy, exceptionally done comfortable bed and lovely shower. Super continental breakfast and exceptionally clean. Great information on local things to do and suggestions for meals. Everything was excellent for our stay. Close to Port Issac and lovely Wadebridge and parking in the church car park was great.

United KingdomAbsolutely fantastic. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely place for a holiday. Beautifully clean and so welcoming. We had a delicious hamper of freshly baked bread and jams, yoghurt and fruit compote waiting for us on our arrival which was topped up on our request. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary. Thankyou.

Fabulous accommodation and exactly what we needed. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could need. The location for the pub across the road is great but also for exploring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.

Wonderful accommodation in tucked away hamlet easy to find just off A39. Leonie was very hospitable and the property faultless although at 6'5" tall a little more headroom in lounge would have been welcome but not possible. Would be very happy to book again. No negatives and St Kew Inn next door is great.

Clean and tidy, beautifully kept in a lovely location. Nice touch was the home baked bread and other supplies which were easy to top up and reorder. Good range of fixtures (microwave, dish washer etc) and a homely feel to it all.

United KingdomThere was nothing to dislike. Our only regret was that during our 7 day break we had a couple of days elsewhere and 4 nights at St Kew and really wish we had come straight to St Kew.
The loft was quiet, cosy and immaculate, it is situated in a very small village with an outstanding pub within a few steps was great after a busy day to relax in the garden with a pint. The loft is extremely comfortable, with the continental breakfast inculding warm bread and the high class fixtures and very comfy bed. St kew is an excellent base to explore Cornwall from with Port Issac just down the road and many smaller ports and beaches within easy reach. Would definitely recommend 5 star service and accommodation.
