The shower pressure is not the best, but most Scotland hotels have a similar set up so it didn't bother us too much.

The staff were incredibly helpful. We had a few questions about traveling in the area and the front desk attendent went out of her way to give us directions. The gardens in the backyard are a nice view if you're sitting outside or near a window in the dining room. Having a restaurant on site was great because there are very few options nearby.

Lots, I believe it was overpriced for the pods looking at nothing but weeds, the property itself was run down and unloved

I sometimes found that the room looked a little old especially in the corners of the bathroom. I would love to have face cloths optional or available for those people who use them. I did not bring any from home and have missed using them. These are not the same as using disposable wipes.

The reception fellow Andrew I believe was very warm and welcoming. The help yourself breakfast was quite adequate for me with many choices. There were a few people from our group ordered from a menu. We had the room set up for handicapped individuals but we enjoyed having the balcony, the room and Brm were just fine. . We had dinner there in the evening, it was very tasty and well prepared. Loved my wine, the Cabaret Sauvignon. I also liked your inviting entrance lounge.

They were sort staffed so we didn't get a tour of the distillery, this was very disappointing. We had dinner in the dining room and we were very pleased with it. The breakfast was great.

The staff could have been more informed and could have provided more information to us ie: dessert ordered was finished so similar (but different) dessert served without any explanation or option to change order. They seemed under staffed but were working hard and I believe staff are hard to find.

A lovely setting with views of the loch from the dining room and bedroom we had. Old historic hotel that was well maintained. Meals served in the restaurant were very nice.

If you don't have a car in loch leven you're kinda stuck as there is very minimal transport around. There wasn't a lot of food options for breakfast, it was vegetarian or non vegetarian, there wasn't any pastry options unfortunately. Although there was nothing wrong with the room me and my partner stayed in, it wasn't worth the money we paid for it, it was very small. The hotel website is a few years old and hasn't been updated, I was excited to try the cocktails on the website but on arrival, asking about the cocktails, the barman said that they hadn't served cocktails in a few years and didn't understand why cocktails were still being shown on the website.

The hotel itself was beautiful, the area was beautiful, the staff were amazing to talk to, they were friendly and more than happy to help. The food was a good portion size, tasted amazing and the alcohol selection was good too. There were beautiful views all around, the gin class available on the website is 100% worth signing up for, it's informative, fun, you get to have a few drinks on the tour of the distillery and you get to make your own gin, name it and wax seal it too, obviously for a price, the tour guide of the distillery was good to talk to, good to joke around with, it was overall a brilliant experience.

My twin bed was just ok in terms of comfort. But it was fine for one night.

The hotel was charming and nestled in beautiful mountains. Nick was just great. He was so nice and friendly. We also had a great time tasting the Gin that is made in the distillery on the premises. Our dinner was terrific.

Drawers and wardrobe would have been helpful as clothes tended to keep cold. Simple hanging rack. Thin duvet meant we needed the thin rug provided plus items from our car to keep warm at night. Thin wall separation from adjoining bedroom. Flimsy shower unit and delay in hot water reaching wash hand-basin. Generally nowhere to place items, so most of our stuff was lying about on the floor or in/on our cases.

Welcoming staff and good food, particularly breakfasts. Convenient location for travelling to Glencoe, Fort William and coast road south.
