Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWell there has to be something, the shower gel sachets were difficult to open. Bedroom curtains let in a bit too much light. Not loads, just a bit. That's it. I'd still happily stop here again.
Two staff that booked me in were both so friendly, professional and accomodating, just a completely pleasant experience. Owners served breakfast and the level of customer service was more of the same high standard. Room was quiet, clean bed linen, good quality duvet that kept me warm through the night, single bed was big enough for those over 6 foot to sleep in comfortably and the mattress was spot on for me, great sleep. Water pressure and temperature were great in the shower, free toiletries were lovely, towels were good quality. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee was lovely. In short good quality sleep, tastey food, great shower, if I get stuck going north on the m6 again, I'll make a point of ending up here.

The breakfast was quite adequate but there was not the variety of continental dishes that we had expected The room was very nice with 4 single beds as requested and the bedding etc was spotless. Dinner was excellent.

A really great place to stay - a comfortable bed, excellent shower, friendly welcome, good food and great value. I only stayed for one night, whilst walking the Westmorland Way, and it was perfect. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have done any more to help me (even iced water for my water bottle on a really hot day). it’s also right on the Coast to Coast route, so would be great for anyone walking that too.

United KingdomVery good stay, for me breaking a journey, near the M6, but other guests were clearly walking in the area. Good food in the bar/restaurant and very helpful and friendly staff. My room was at the front, up to mid evening there was quite a lot of traffic noise, but this stopped about 9.00pm and my sleep was not disturbed.
