Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenMany and steep stairs up to the room, but a very friendly staff who helped all the way with luggage. Also, I could have checked beforehand if there would be a lift, which I didn’t.
Very kind and helpful staff, a very nice breakfast that exceeded expectations, cosy rooms (our and the pub/breakfast area).

United KingdomThe room was above the kitchen so smelled of food. Unbearably hot in the bedroom to sleep. Only 4 plug sockets and 2 were for the kettle and Tv. Room was very small but ok for 2 nights.
In a pub, price was ok for London and within walking distance from Ealing Broadway Tube station. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy and breakfast nice.

United States of AmericaNeed to mention that the only way to the Rooms is up the flight of stairs. Not good for older people. Hand Railings weren’t adequate.
Friendly Staff and clean property, delicious food.

United KingdomFew minor issues with the twin room but nothing major: 1) The smell from the bathroom (not pleasant) 2) Blown light in bathroom. 3) Exposed wiring in ceiling light 4) Annoying drip just outside window
1) Very good location, 2) great staff (looked a lovely pub but sadly didn't get a chance to experience), 3) good breakfast 4) very handy for free parking if available, 5) comfy beds.

United KingdomSurprisingly the room I stayed in was already open when I came in the property. And the toilet had trouble flushing only to find out there was a stuck poop that’s clogging up when I tried to use it after the whole time of my stay.
Convenient location, clean and spacious. I was surprised with the free breakfast included.

HungaryBreakfast options were a bit limited and not consistent (e.g. alternative milk was not always available) but we never left hungry. Water pressure in the bath was not always enough but I guess it's the old plumbing. Neither of these caused real discomfort.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, clean, quiet area, near a shopping centre, tube stations and the Elizabeth Line, which makes it simpe to access central London. Staff was nice, check-in and check-out was super fast, and it's nice to have a pub downstairs where we could drink our last pint for the day without having to think about how to get home. Luggage storage was also provided.

United States of AmericaOffered us very small room at first which seemed like a single room. Unforgivable. However, gave us a better room upon request. Very old building. Water pressure was horrible. Way too tiny bathroom. Tiny Hot and cold separate taps in the tiny sink. Cannot mix. No lift. Entrance to stairs like you are getting into your cabin in the boat. Not a hotel. Ok If someone needs just bed and breakfast. Overpriced for little or no facility. God knows who writes good reviews. I cannot recommend this place for a decent traveler.
Safe and convenient Location. Staff is good and friendly. Breakfast is good.

AustraliaThe property is on many levels, so if you have issues negotiating stairs, it’s not ideal. Mum struggled a bit, but the staff were kind enough to immediately switch our room to one on the lower level.
Breakfast choices were excellent. It was a buffet style offering with something for every taste, with good coffe and tea selection.

AustraliaStairs to the room, no lift for luggage.
The room was of a fairly good size, with 2 x single beds and a small private ensuite with shower and toilet. We only stayed for one night after landing at London Heathrow. Easy access and a short walk from the train station on the Elizabeth Line. The staff was great, bonus having the pub downstairs where we also had dinner, which was great. Small buffet breakfast was included the next morning.

United KingdomAll the members of staff were nice, however it took a bit for them to be present whilst i was trying to check in and out. I do think I was checking in and out at less busy times, so the staff members were off doing other jobs (which is completely understandable)
The location is great (if you don't know the area it can be a bit easy to get turned around). The access to busses, the tube, shopping and places to eat was spot on. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast included with the room was nice.
