They just had the heating upgraded, unfortunately didn't work at first, but they had it fixed, reasonably quickly.

Great atmosphere, enjoyed the bar, away from the accommodation, so was quiet. Friendly staff. Building well restored in great condition.

    We should have stayed longer...

In the centre of Chipping Norton Friendly landlord. Nice old building. Don't expect The Ritz, it's a traditional village inn. Charming old building.

She did warn us that there was a disco underneath our room. I thought it would be just the base we would be able to hear but it was like we were in the disco ourselves. I could hear the Dj and every song. Luckily it finished at 11.15pm.

Lovely pub hotel, landlady very friendly and helpful. Helped us with places to eat for Dinner and breakfast. Also the tea and Coffee making facilities were the best we have ever seen.

The noise from the street - would be solved with double-glazing on the windows, but I'm not sure that's feasible given the age of the building

Very comfortable room and bed, in an excellent location. Generous tea/coffee in room, and good size TV. Helpful staff.

Great spot in Chipping Norton. Friendly staff showed us to our room which was up some narrow stairs but managed with small bags.Hotel was being renovated so no meals but plenty of options on the High Street.

Noisy in the morning as at front and the traffic woke us up, the blinds did not shut all the way down so light came into room too much. Stairs quite steep with no handrail. Parking not ample so had to park on overnight one which we were in luck as we took the last space on that one. No food at property as we were aware of and the place a bit further down on the other side does a 10/10 breakfast at super price so that made up for it. (The Old Mill)

We had a very warm welcome and the staff were friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. Large bedroom and comfy bed.
