There was very limited parking. We also had a loud extractor fan noise next to our room. It stopped by 10 and then it was quieter than our home.

It was in an ideal place and you could access without going into the pub.

Windows didn’t close properly (appreciate its an old building) which meant for a very noisy late evening and early morning with road traffic passing by.

Very convenient location in Chipping Norton! And great if you manage to park in the pubs available parking.

The room was a little tired. The chair in the room was dusty and there was a questionable stain on the bed base on the left hand side of the bed. The pillows would benefit from protective covers as they were stained.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

Size of the room x no wardrobe or hooks in the bathroom for the towels

The staff x the location, so near to buses to Oxford and Blenheim and further afield if I'd have time

Parking was very limited and a very steep iron staircase to the room. Room only no dinner or breakfast options at the venue. Very dated bathroom, cracked laminate, terrible terrible smell in the bathroom from arriving to leaving even after running water and flushing the loo. The window in the room could not be secured open or shut!

    Old historic building.

Nothing, just one of the plug sockets was loose which could have been an issue but there were plenty of other sockets to use. Ironing board and iron in a convenient place.

Comfortable beds , nice garden , plenty of tea bags etc. good access to garden

No available parking in small pub car park at any time. This is no problem if you have a small overnight bag but not great with a suitcase. Chipping Norton was experiencing a heat wave during our stay and rooms were very hot with limited window ventilation.

The location was great, quiet after pub closed. Parking was available around the roads or in free car parking areas about a 5 minute walk from pub. Nice white linen and towels and comfortable beds. Great band playing on the Saturday night in the pub.

The cobwebs all over ceiling and walls

Easy access and was a large comfortable room. Room was clean and so was bathroom. Had lovely big bath. Loved the old features etc but one thing I did think could b better was the dust on the ceiling and all over the beams. There wa loads spiders webs all over and hanging down from ceiling, the rest of the property was clean but tht let it down.

Housekeeping needed a lil spruce up, I had to get rid of the cobwebs off the ceiling before i could sleep the first night, the only opening window had the worst safety catch meaning it only opened an inch (was still 25 degrees at 11pm) the shower worked fine but the tiles needed more of a scrub, there is parking but only if you get there early! We bought bottled water as it didn’t taste right

Beautiful traditional pub with friendly staff, I feel we were lucky to get such a lovely room which was at the far end of the pub, high ceiling, original beams light and bright, drinks at the bar were reasonable and plenty of seating inside and a few tables out the back, we had clean sheets and towels, we managed to park everyday after being out and about but only if you’re back before 3.30pm, plenty tea coffee milk in the room
