We loved our stay at the Kempts' house. Laura and Danny were wonderful with us, attention to detail, concern for our well-being. Not forgetting Theo and Hugo they are so cute. We stayed 3 nights, and we were only sorry we didn't stay longer. Just a few small details that made our stay even better, every day we had the fan on in the room and a fresh bottle of water waiting for us, because it was so hot and Laura and Danny wanted us to be comfortable in our room. Another example was, when we said , that we were on our Honeymoon, they left us a box of chocolates in our room, so thoughtful. I recommend it 100%. And if you need information for tours in Scotland there are no better people, they gave us lots of tips and places to visit! Try the breakfast, it's divine.

Danny and Laura were very nice, kind and helpful. We didn't stay long but had a great stay with them. The room was very clean and comfortable. They even provided a hot water bottle in case we were cold. The location is nice and it's easy to get to the town center.

The location, room and facilities are absolutely fantastic. It literally looked like a brand new place. What really made the stay was the owners who were so nice and friendly. We even bumped into them on the walk home and had a chat, then the following morning I was helped so much by them as my car battery needed sorted. Absolutely lovely people.

Very comfortable and cosy room at the Guest house. Had everything I needed, plus some very thoughtful extras supplied by the hosts! Location was a nice walk from train station, and very near the Caladonian Canal and flight of locks. Supermarket across the road. Recommended.

There was a bit of light entering the room from the hallway at night. It wasn't off-putting as I was able to turn and block it with a pillow.

The guest house was in a fantastic place, close to local amenities, and right next to the town centre took no more than 10 minutes to get there. The room was lovely, really nicely decorated and comfortable. The hosts were both fantastic they made sure to make recommendations on where it was best to visit.

I rarely leave a review, but this accomodation was so welcoming and lovely, I was blown away. The room was impeccable (extremly clean-ocd friendly 😉, newly furbished), the hosts beyond lovely and accomodating, helping even with future trip plans and any questions we've had. Just a lovely stay (with shops and city in walking distance) with absolutely nothing negative to say. Would love to come again!

Danny and Laura are wonderful hosts. They are very accommodating and they really make an effort for your comfort. We ended up extending our stay with them. They were helpful and kind and plus the accommodation was very clean. We loved the tiny details of the facilities their rooms had.

The heating wasn't as per my comfort the first day but it was sorted the next day. Hosts have been wonderful with all the requests and the cleanliness was remarkable.

The Guest house was 15 minutes walk from the Railway Station. The room was very clean. Hot water bag was also provided for extra comfort. There were cookies, chocolates/mints, hot chocolate & usual tea coffee sachets there in the room. Host were very mindful of my requests, I felt very cold the first night and messaged them to get the radiator checked, which they did and the next night was very comfortable. Overall the stay was very comfortable and I will definitely recommend this place to my peers. Hospitality was beyond expectations.
