We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomReally good value stay. Its a great location for visitors arriving by train and using the ferry as well as the local shops. The hotel had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Good amenities in the room. Very quiet and comfortable in the evenings. A great choice for visiting Oban and beyond.

United KingdomThe hotel room was pretty well equipped in terms of shower and sink and toilet furniture. Slightly annoying that the small items like toilet roll holder and bathroom shelves are all badly installed with small fittings and are hanging off at skewed angles. Having gone to the trouble of installing reasonably good furniture, getting a competent tradesman to finish off the small items would have made sense.
The location is perfect for catching a ferry and the staff are very helpful.

Definitely a find. Ideal location within Oban. Older building, room was small but extremely fresh and clean. We finished off our night in the small bar, where the staff were so friendly. I would definitely recommend the Kelvin Hotel.

United KingdomThe only thing that could be better is soundproofing - it’s an old building and noise seems to carry. I imagine it would be tricky if guests are noisy - however that’s never been a problem whenever I’ve stayed.
The staff are awesome - I’m a returning customer and this is the main reason I come back. They couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. It’s a ‘no frills’ hotel but it’s always spotless, reliable, friendly and in a fantastic location (5 min drive OR walk to ferry terminal)
