Being ground floor, some security device is needed on window to enable opening at night.

Room had expected facilities. Comfortable bed. Only one pillow per person, needed two. Cleanliness was so so - a cigarette on the floor was interesting for a no-smoking room. Power socket by dressing table was 50% u/s. The shower and hot water were excellent. Breakfast was good.

The room that I was staying in for a few days would require some refreshing. The same goes for the bathroom. However, I don't have very high expectations, so it was OK for me.

Hotel very well situated. Has its own pub with a large selection of beers and very good food. Live sports broadcasts. Staff very open and helpful.

Cash machine didn't work in the morning, luckily I had cash. A garden area has been put in since last time reducing the parking which made leaving interesting.

Well located for all the 5 museum's (King Tut's ) and centre of Dorchester. Area well signposted local knowledge was good. Central location to see other NT places.

Great for a short stay

Great location as it centrally located and ideal base for exploring. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble for them. Value for money, food was a good standard.

The rooms could use some renovation. For the price I expected an actual hotel. I’d be happy to pay £75 a night for this type of room.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, pub with kitchen right across the hall. More of a roadside inn than a hotel but that’s not a dealbreaker.

There was a bit of a hum from a boiler in Room 3 but it didn’t stop me sleeping. No noise from other rooms though so I think the walls are thick.

Very clean spacious rooms. Fantastic cooked breakfast. Staff very helpful. This is the second time I’ve stayed and the service and food are consistently good.

the rooms are in a small courtyard opposite the bar area. our room was good, very spacey and nice and quiet. the staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was lovely.

The mattresses were very soft. A pair of matching beds would be a good investment.

Spacious room. Everything was very clean. I liked the fact you could access the room directly from the car park. Excellent breakfast, with lovely field mushrooms, served piping hot. I will definitely stay again.

Unfortunately the accommodation was very tired and in need of up dating .ie curtains . Lighting . Shower room .however the room was cleaned daily .

The room had skylights, one without a blind and no way to open them to get some air in. The room smelt musty and wasn’t very clean. Very old carpet that has seen better days. Bed mattress needs improving and should be a king size rather than a double. No parking.

The accommodation seemed very dated, the lock on the door didn't work very well and the door needed repainting. It was also very noisy at night from some of the people visiting the pub. The parking was not ideal because people easily blocked us in.

The bathroom was very tired and could benefit hugely from a lick of paint - there was mould on the ceiling, the radiator was very stained, and the shower and sink were grimy round the edges / seals stained, although they were clean enough in general. Everything worked, though.

Location was perfect for our needs, room was large, and bed comfortable.
