Wifi had poor reception in the room, rooms made up daily but coffee cups and glasses were not cleaned or replaced the entire stay, unable to have breakfast at the restaurant below the hotel, due to opening time from 9am and too late for work schedule etc.

There were not enough electrical outlets/sockets. They needed to have a couple on either side of the bed.

Unfortunately there was a battery missing in the remote of the air conditioner.

The restaurant and staff were great. Food is great and so is the atmosphere, that made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was neat, clean and very attractive. Bed was very comfortable and a surprise unit at the bed with a TV was very much enjoyable! I will highly recommend this place as the location was great as well.

corridor dark and dated with an off putting smell. Not a great entrance down the side with keypad especially at night. Automated lights too slow to respond so you were in darkness momentarily outside room. Walls very thin and was woken at 6am with the man next door making some unpleasant noises in the shower. £146 a night for a single person was expensive for Ayr. Full height window to the car park meant I was on constant full view or had to shut curtains. Ironing board so cheap I got a grid mark on new expensive trousers.

The only issue for me is the doors. I believe because the doors are heavy fire doors, anytime someone would open a door it would slam shut, which kept making me jump. If there is a way to make them slow closing then this hotel for me would be perfect.

I really like the decor. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the staff in the restaurant are so friendly, whilst waiting for our room we had amazing hot chocolate. The room itself was very clean and the bed was amazing! I slept really well! I also love that the rooms have an information booklet about the area etc I thought that was a nice touch.

There was nothing 'wrong' with this hotel! My only niggle (a very small one) was the fact it was unmanned, sometimes it nice to have someone welcome you upon arrival.

Great place to stay, a stone's throw from the town centre, and, near to the beach. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great shower (could have stood under it all day!) Down stairs led to the restaurant at the front of the hotel (separate business, on the same property) I did not eat at the restaurant, so I can not review that. However, I did have a few drinks at the bar, and the staff were very welcoming and professional. I will try to stay here again when I next visit the town (should it be available), I would have no issues recommending this gem to anyone.

No real faults. First visit to a smart/unmanned hotel and self check-in and out really simple with codes sent via text and by using app.

Clean, comfortable and modern room. Very central location, only a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants, and 5-10 min stroll to the beach.

A little noisey from cars in morning

Think we were upgraded, lovely big room , comfortable bed , No staff on premises, but they had rang and were very helpful. Restaurant downstairs ( owned by different people , was very good and their staff were fab)
