Although we knew beforehand, restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday evening outside French School Holiday season ( we were there following week) but would have been nice to have some bar snacks or light options available.

Beautiful setting overlooking the lake and ideal for our trip for 3 special occasions. Slight issue on arrival but were given a much better room than they had allocated but I think it was a system problem rather than anything else. Amazing pool area and restaurant both with lake views.

Major road with tremendous traffic (hence bad air) spoils the walk to and from town.

Friendly staff were kind, accommodating, and accepting or our dog, who was very stressed due to stormy weather. The owner of the hotel was not a fan (of the dog), but all the other statt were lovely. Limited menu, but the quality of the food was absolutely excellent.

Breakfast was of good quality and choice (salmon). The breakfast room was perfectly located with a view on the lake. Our room was nicely decorated, the toilet was separated from the spacious bathroom .The bedding was great; silky sheets and embroided pillow covers!

We were in the annex...lovely room but at ground floor the hedge spoilt the view of the lake from the terrace. The terrace was also pretty unattractive. If we had been upstairs with a balcony it would have been perfect.

Really well located for touring the Vosges. Great local menu and well priced and good quality wine list. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was fine although we didn't really need it. Staff were so eager to please despite our French being so poor. Just a really nice and friendly small hotel.

We did not like the fact that we were proposed a different room with the explanation that we do not have to pay for the difference, however at the check out we were asked 28 euros more. This is kind of a forced sale.

The only thing to note - not an issue with the hotel itself - is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise.

We particularly liked the setting, and were pleased we'd decided to pay more for a room with a view of the lake. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed eating in the restaurant and on the terrace - again, the views were wonderful. The food was very good without being overly elaborate/expensive. Breakfasts were varied and tasty. Our bedroom was elegant - not huge, but with the balcony/view this wasn't an issue. Nice Clarins products were a bonus.

Best location next to lake with fantastic garden. Parking easy, breakfast room with top view over the lake. Suite large, newly built, clean and comfortable. WLAN a bit weak but ok. Dinner was ok but not exciting. Breakfast perfect with very polite service and wonderful french food. Overall we loved it.

Just a small note - to fix the toilet door in the room capucine

We stayed in a suite Capucine which has a bedroom and huge bathroom. The room was spacious, super clean, furniture is a great shape, overall exceeded expectations. The hotel is cute, the swimming pool is super warm and has great hamam. Breakfast was delicious and served in a very light dining hall with a view. Stuff was very attentive and helpful.

The night in the villa part of the hotel was fine, great suite and great view of the lake. The hotel's staff welcomed us warm-hearted and were very caring, just what we needed after a lengthy trip that day. We enjoyed the amenities and the vast park-like garden of the hotel, also breakfast was fine.
