What a great place! Such lovely staff, and a wonderful feel about the place at literally half the price of hotels in St Andrews. Would recommend to anyone!

The breakfast was lovely chosen from a good menu. Served in a lovely wee restaurant by friendly and attentive staff. The evening meals were also very good, tasty, piping hot food. All the staff and the manager were helpful and friendly. There was a homely feel. The location of the Inn was just right, in a wee community spirited village, with good bus transport to St Andrews and to Crail and other fishing villages along the coast

The bedroom was comfortable only downside was it was a little dark and overlooked on to a courtyard. There was a blind and curtains, it would have been great to have more privacy and just a little more lighting for the evening.

Lovely location in a peaceful village, well connected to nearby villages and a short distance from St Andrews. Welcoming staff, very helpful - good value for money.

The only critique I have was that you couldn’t always control the times the radiator and towel warmers would come on. They appear to run the boilers on a schedule.

This was a charming property located in a strategically excellent village to use as a base for St Andrews area golf. Rooms were very nice with some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on in our four trips to Scotland. Staff was excellent and very responsive.

The Inn is a lovely cosy old pub, in the Fife village of Kingsbarns near to St Andrews and the fishing villages of the East Neuk. The property is community owned and we received a very warm welcome. The menu is not extensive but the food was good quality and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our stay

We had a great four day stay. The establishment is now community owned, and I have to say how well Mark and the team looked after us in that time. The breakfast and evening meals were very good, and the room was ideal. It's a great location for access to St Andrews. Highly recommended.

Window blinds bright in morning but this is personal preference and did not spoil my stay.

Small friendly inn with welcoming locals and staff.Room was clean and tidy with all the facilities you would need including a mini fridge with chilled water and fresh milk provided.Bathroom had a good shower with plenty pressure and storage area for toiletries was good. The bedroom had a door to a small shared patio area and was in an attached building to the inn making it very peaceful with no traffic noise. Bed was comfortable and there was two chairs to relax in breakfast was tasty with a good choices.Very nice stay

Huge double room in a lovely family-run inn hotel that was happy to welcome our dog. The room had everything we needed, including coffee, tea and biscuits. Great breakfast...and the dog had her own sausage! Would stay again.

Nothing. Nada. Nope. This was a great stay and we loved it. We walked down to the ocean each day which was just lovely.

Our stay at Kingsbarns was everything we hoped for and more. From the delicious breakfast, to the comfortable and well stocked room, we felt really cared for staying here. The intimacy of the Inn can't be beat. We were able to chat up guests and the owners or keep to ourselves, as we wished. All the food here was excellent. All the service was excellent. We left feeling like we had a very lovely Scottish experience that we will rave about for years. Harris, the Good Boy made our stay perfect!
