Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe lady out is understandably all over the place due to the age of the building and even though we used the lift we still had a lot of stairs to use.
I loved how spacious it was

United KingdomThere is a small carpark just next to the hotel which was empty but we couldn’t park there as it was for staff only The girl on reception when we got there looked like she couldn’t be bothered and we felt as if we were putting her out by being there not unfriendly but unwelcoming Then there’s the deco. When you walk in to reception it looks great as it does from outside but when you go up the first flight of stairs it starts to look very tired and worn and it doesn’t get any better in the room either it was painted in what can only be described as battleship grey and I don’t think it was done professionally either. As a professional decorator myself I was thinking of leaving a card The shower handle kept coming off in our hand and the blind in the bathroom was to small for the window and the window in room 23 was leaking but it was an exceptionally wet night Overall it was worth the £75 a night we paid as we had it on offer but I wouldnt pay £150 a night full price if they want it to be a bespoke hotel as they advertise they should redecorate and upgrade the soft furnishings in the rooms and make it more desirable to guests
The location was excellent right in the centre of town and on the sea front the restaurant is the selling point of this hotel with big picture windows overlooking the sea and the breakfast was great The staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly The bed was comfortable and the sheets were spotless

United KingdomThe dinner.
Good room with excellent view, hotel gives easy access to town centre and beaches. Excellent breakfast, had dinner on first night but very disappointed, starter fine but main overcooked and all heaped on the plate. Ate out for the rest of our stay.

United KingdomRoom had an amazing view. Hotel is in a cracking spot right in the heart of Tenby town, sitting above the beach. You could hear the tide lapping the shore directly below the room. We were on the top floor but the hotel did have a lift.

United KingdomThe hotel is in need of updating. Our room had paint peeling off the walls & ceiling, a lick of paint would've sorted this. The curtains are falling off the rail & looked really scruffy, surely this is only a quick job to rectify. The heating was only on for a short time & the Sunday had been raining all day & was cold, so this should've been on, in my opinion. The water was only just warm enough in the shower, particularly in the evening when it was luke warm & it was cold coming out with no heating on either. The room was too dark, there was a small light fitting that is totally inadequate for a room that size (it also had lots of dead flies inside the shade). There were a couple of lamps, but they were only dim & didn't provide enough additional lighting. The day before we arrived, we were sent an email to allow us to check in prior to our arrival & give our car registration number for the car park. However, when we got there we were informed that there is no car park!! The receptionist explained that it's a generic email that is sent by the hotel chain, surely this needs to amended to only apply to their hotels that actually DO have a car park, it's so misleading. There was no housekeeping in our room during our 3 night stay (there was a sign in the bathroom telling us this is the hotel policy, although we didn't know this beforehand). We went out & bought our own toilet paper when it ran out & took our own rubbish out & put it in the public bin in the town.
The location is amazing, overlooking the beach & right in the heart of Tenby. The room was huge, with an excellent view. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The towels were thick & fluffy. There were excellent tea & coffee making facilities, an iron & ironing board and a safe.
