The car park was a little small at the huntsman and at times a little noisy with the pub being downstairs.

The breakfast was lovely and the location was great. The town was lovely and the hosts were friendly. On the Friday we had the pizza which is one of the best pizzas we have had, we would recommend.

There is nothing to dislike about but only one little issue for me is I booked a room with private bathroom but the room and bathroom are separate so need to walk out of the room and go to the bathroom, little awkward during the nighttime as didn’t want to wake anyone up

We stayed there for Alton Towers day out and it was a good location, only 15 mins drive. The staff were lovely and very welcoming! The food and drinks are nice too, the room was good

There was hair where you made coffee in room, previous people obviously had a shave there. Tv is in a dodgy place and could have done with a mini fridge.

Dinner was amazing, breakfast was a bit shy in the morning 1 of each on plate but taste good.

The TV was microscopic. Not much bigger than a portable screen

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious enough. The chimney light added a nice little ambience to the room.

Bit of a system issue meant our food order was very delayed but the manager took care of things and we were very satisfied with the outcome

Staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. We arrived after having the day at Alton Towers Screamfest at 10pm and we had messaged then prior to see if they would do us some pizzas and leave them for us as we knew it would be late when we arrived. They were only too happy to do this; the gorgeous food was waiting for us boxed up on a table next to the fire; just what we needed! Breakfast - we both had the eggs benedict, which were, like the pizzas, gorgeous.

Comfortable beds, lots of tea/coffee/ biscuits in room . 15 mins from Alton Towers . Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast the next morning.

The bathroom - mould in shower. Bedroom on main road so a little noisy for sleeping

The location was perfect for Alton towers. We arrived around 7.30pm tired from our first day. The team were really welcoming and we ordered food as they finished serving at 9pm. Pizzas were delicious as were the chicken strips, chips and pizza pudding. The bedroom was cosy, roomy and nicely decorated with good facilities

The room was a little cold when we arrived but they appologised and switched the heating on for us. The shower barrier didn't stop the water so the floor was a little wet. Other than these minor issues, everything was fine.

The Huntsman is a cosy pub with comfortable accommodation. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was a decent size and the beds were warm and comfortable. The internet connection was good and the breakfast was excellent. It was nice to sit by the fire to eat our breakfast in the morning. There is a convenience store 2 minutes away which was handy. It's also very close to Alton Towers theme park.

Quiz held in pub, very loud to the point could join in if we wanted. Once finished was quiet and couldn't hear.

Our toilet was in a separate room from ours and had to walk a short distance to it.

Was good location for Alton Towers. Pizzas were amazing made right in front of you in a stone pizza oven. Breakfast was delicious and staff were fantastic.
