A little noisy at night due to the location but to be expected when you’re in a city centre and we were out anyway so didn’t bother us, but something to be aware of. Really minor but there isn’t a hairdryer so be sure to bring your own.

This was a great little find, you couldn’t ask for a better location. The 2 bedroom apartment is split over 2 floors so it basically feels like you’re in a house. Lovely clean and modern bathroom. Welcome pack with milk, orange juice, tea etc on arrival which was a really nice touch. Great communication and instructions from host.

What's not to like about a comfortable stylish room in the heart of Canterbury? Our 4th stay. Already planning our next! Great value, and we feel safe and secure there. If you need any help with how to work the TV/heating, it's easy to message for support, and there is always a prompt, friendly reply. Wouldn't stay anywhere else now. Hugo is a haven for us!

I didnt like that there wasnt enough space in the bathroom to put out personal stuff, as toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. Despite that, everything was perfect😇

The room was comfortable, the bed was very soft and perfect for 2 people, the bathroom was fully renovated and there was hot water all day and night, everything was clean and tidy up, we didnt have to worry about keys or cards because the doors are working with codes!

The room was lovely, stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Even though it is next door to a busy pub (it's a lovely pub with great food!) I didn't hear any noise. The toiletries are high quality and smell amazing! I will definitely be booking again!

The floor in the corridor creaks a bit when people walks outside.

The room was perfect for a night stay. The bathroom was excellent and it had all the necessary. The shower worked perfectly. The room was in the High St so it was close to everything and quiet at the same time as was facing the back.

We couldn’t get the overhead shower working, I’m sure it must be something simple but we couldn’t do it so when we switched it on the hand held shower head came on and soaked all the towels hung up in there. We then had to shower with one hand while we tried to shampoo our hair and wash etc. and then no towels to dry with.

It was right on top of all the action and cheaper than a hotel that would have been further away, so perfect location and good value for money for what we wanted.

It was a bit noisy because it is located right on top of a busy pub

The location was perfect, right in the centre if everything, not far from train station Communication from the hosts was very good The place was nicely decorated and had all that we needed. The little touches of coffee pods, milk, orange juice, crisps and cake was really good.

Our room was smaller than we'd expected, but it's not a big issue if you're planning on being out and about enjoying Canterbury. It's also lacking in storage, particularly in the bathroom.

The hugo is in a great location and is very modern and clean, and the bathroom is lovely with an awesome shower. Ben, who runs the hugo was very helpful too.

No major issue, would have liked some blinds for privacy. The salt shaker was empty and some cooking oil would be useful. The duvets were really thin. Some noise outside at night in the street facing bedroom, thats understandable as the place is in middle of town centre. Ear plugs provided.

Nothing but I imagine it could be noisy in summer as it is next to a pub. For us in winter it was very quiet though.

I loved the beds, the lights, the shower, the ease of access to the room with the code, the chairs to sit in, the cleanliness.

There were about 6 inches between each side of the bed and the wall so it wasn't very easy to get in and out of bed! Fine for one night but couldn't have managed for longer. Would be good if there was a shower mat as it's quite slippery!
