Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SwedenI really liked this hotel, but if its something i would say the food. It didnt taste bad at all, i just dont think i would pay that much for the food. But we ate there a few times but we mostly ate outside, and it worked that too!😊
The staff was really helpful and kind and helped with questions. One staff, named Sam helped us so much and were such a good and nice staff! The Rooms were so clean and the design was so clean and cozy! The hotel is located in a good area, near the ”City”, and it was so easy to take the tube or undergrund to diffrent locations.😊

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating when I arrived with family visiting London for the first time.The ambience of the lobby is vibrant and stylish, lots of space and full of life. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable. This was my first stay so booked a small room, but even though small, the comfort and quality of the rooms a real pleasure.

NetherlandsThe bed design was a bit of a surprise to us. There was no boxspring or slatted bedbase below the matras. Just 2 wooden boards. This gave the bed a very stiff feel, as if putting a matras on the floor. Maybe this works for some people, but we would have preferred a normal bed.
Very nice bar/restaurant area with a vibrant feel all day. Nice and helpfull staff and great location.

Room was very small for money and mattress far to soft and you could hear springs each time you moved. This is not a negative review as it did what it said on the tin but stayed at hotels in the London that offer better for less.

NetherlandsSadly the room felt pokey and the decor style felt outdated, boyish and cluttered - not reflective of the seductive interior style downstairs. There was very little space for an open suitcase and only one small hook for clothes storage. Not ideal when travelling with bigger suitcases or for more than a night.
The hotel lobby is an absolute winner - spacious, good wifi, quick service, solid menu. Buzzy with locals and fun in the evening. The elevator system felt safe. The bed was comfortable and bathroom sparkling clean.
