The staff were very friendly and attentive. We asked for an early check in which was more than achieved and was very helpful for us. The situation was excellent and we had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was very good. Well done and thank you.

The property was in the middle of new management changeover, so the pub part wasn’t open, everything else was great though.

The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a great breakfast too.

If I was being picky the carpet could have done with a good vacuum but bed and shower were clean. I stayed 2 nights but tea & coffee sachets in room not replenished after 1st night.

The room was a decent size, warm and comfortable. Bed very comfy and nice hot shower. Quiet considering town centre location. Good to have on site free parking available. Breakfast was average. It was not the nicest place I have ever stayed but neither was it the most expensive. I paid £75 per night for B&B. For this price I think it was good value for money and I would stay again.

No glass in the bedroom so I used a mug instead. I know they both hold water but I would have preferred a glass!

Poor TV reception. Despite being only guest for the evening, I couldn't be allocated to another room.

The breakfast was a let down! They had no vegetarian sausages, avacado or black pudding on both the mornings myself and my two sons attended breakfast, despite these items being advertised on the menu. Long wait for breakfasts to arrive and when they did arrive the food was lukewarm and the toast was cold and hard. My scrambled eggs were burnt as there were lots of black patches throughout the egg which tasted burnt so i could not eat them. The waitress was pleasant and friendly, but breakfasts disappointing!

Whilst room was comfortable and clean ,staff need a long brush to reach the ceiling to knock a few dust/ cobwebs down. Didn't bother me but a hotel inspector might reduct a point or so for this if there was an inspection.Decor a bit faded but perfectly fine.

Comfortable room ,comfortable bed, Central location.staff helpful. Ideal base. Everything you probably expect for a reasonable price. I would recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

No milk in the room, damp towels, cobwebs on the ceiling, not enough t-bags, found hot chocolate in a drawer outside the room, had to ask for cereal selection at breakfast, a bit haphazard.

Breakfast fine. Big drawback, which I should have have asked about before booking, was that the bedrooms are on the second floor with no lift.
