A good B&B in the centre of Nairn.

The hot water did not work the second morning. We had only ice cold water and were not able to take a shower. This B&B had no staff in the morning and noone could make it work. We had to pay extra 120 pounds each to get a cooked breakfast. No alternative.

Comfy beds in a spaciuos room.

I was in the twin room and having to step up two steps into the dated bathroom was a struggle. I expected steps up into the room but nit in the room itself

    Beautiful building

Some fresh fruit at breakfast would have been good

Location was great, and there's usually space to park there. *** The staff went out of their way to be helpful and allowed an early check-in + happy for me to leave my bags after check-out so I didn't have to drag them round while waiting for my lift. The flexibility is much appreciated ***

A great one night stay in a classic pub/restaurant/inn in Nairn

I got a really spacious room compared to all the others on my 8 day tour of Scotland. The Havelock is a classic inn with a pub/restaurant downstairs and comfortable rooms upstairs. It's great to have food, drink, and accommodation all in the same building.

There were, sadly, no evening meals on the day we chose to stay due, I think, to shortage of staff. Good recommendations were made for alternative places to eat.

Friendly helpful staff. Comfy spacious room and excellent bathroom with bath. This is always a bonus for me. Key to room a little temperamental but ease of entry and exit to property when staff not available. Slight downside re parking but staff made sure we knew where was suitable giving easy access to hotel.

Bed was too soft for me and lights too bright, the bulbs in the lamps poked out the top of the lamps. It can set of migraine auras for me so we left the lights off. The tv gave enough light so no big deal.

Brilliant location, cosy and bright room. Good shower over bath. Very helpful staff.

I think you need to let staff know in advance if you want breakfast, we fancied some when we checked out but the restaurant and bar area was closed - might just be before it’s before summer season though !

friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. cosy bar with live sports and food available, super clean rooms with comfortable beds & very close to the beach!
