The towels were all stained and the ones left on some of the beds were damp, bordering on wet. Though we were happy with the rest of the property we found this really off putting. Note: the bathroom is small and getting the temperature correct on the shower is a bit tricky.

The check in instructions were very clear and helpful. The property was very cute. Note that it is up a few flights of stairs if that is a problem for you. We didn’t ask for luggage storage. This may have been available but otherwise I can recommend Premier Inn around the corner.

We enjoyed a great family get away in this lovely apartment. The location is perfect and accommodation is quiet, cosy and homely. We found all the facilities we needed, good internet/wifi, comfy beds, toasty warm at night and nearby loads of great places to eat and drink. We hope to revisit again to take in the lovely City.

Stairs, fair few if you have luggage. Parking is not easy to find that is close, within a street anyway.

Location is good, nice street and local area, supermarket nearby. About 15 mins walk to old town so not far at all. Very quiet street and very cosy apartment. Loved the feel of the apartment overall and great kitchen.

It was difficult to turn the key in the lock - it needed a little jiggle, so that would have been good in the instructions. The key could be better labelled (have the number of the flat on it).

It is a well-equipped flat (washing machine, iron, kettle, pots and pans, ...) and there are even some kitchen basics (teabags, soluble coffee, some spices, ...). The flat is friendly, bright and quiet.

This isn't an issue with the property which we thought was great, however the details on Booking.com could make it more clear that a refundable deposit is required in addition to the initial cost of the booking.

Great location close to Princes Street with all its shops and round the corner from many local cafés, bars and eateries. Also within walking distance of most of the highlights of Edinburgh, although we did use a taxi a few times when feeling lazy! This was not a problem as the street is easily accessible from all directions. The kitchen is fully featured although we chose to eat out most of the time. Bedrooms are both large and beds very comfortable. Towels and linen all very clean and generally the flat is very nicely decorated throughout. I had great support from the owner and his team when I booked and they notified me of our ability to check in earlier than planned. Much appreciated, thank you.

There is no dishwasher and there were no vinegar and oil, but it was not actually a problem as mot other basic items were there.

The quiet location in New Town was perfect for my purposes, and the city centre is in easy reach. The appartment's furniture looks a bit old-fashioned (compared to some other rental flats in the area), but it is in fact a very comfortable and warm place. There are washing machine, dryer, iron, all necessary kitchen material, cooking basics (salt, pepper, tea, soluble coffee). All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!

We loved the place. All was smooth from finding the place and easy self check in till the last moment of self checkout. Easy access to most of the activities and sightseeing. About 10-15 min walks to Old Town, station and Princess street. Supermarket is very close by. Kitchen is very well equipped with almost everything you might need. We only had breakfast there as there are so many nice places around for lunch and dinner. Beds are comfortable. Overall feels like classic Edinburg.

It could do with a bit of love. .. Some of the decor is a bit tired in places and there were patches of damp that need sorting out. The bathroom lets the apartment down and needs re-decorating. If these problems were dealt with, this would change it from a 4 star to a 5 star apartment

The location is excellent with good access to all areas of the City. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped (we went as a couple but it would have worked for 4 adults). A couple of practical issues were swiftly sorted out by the concierge company who manage the building
