It's a little bit out of the way.

Lovely old style pub with luxury rooms. It's obvious that a great deal of thought and expense has gone into the recent upgrade.

Blenheim Suite was a real WOW! Brass roll top bath in the room, wooden panelling, comfy seating, and a four poster with a great mattress!

Heating on in room & bathroom which couldn't be turned off!! Much too hot for June! Also, drainage in wet room bit slow & any towels put down to prevent slipping were quickly sodden. Very slippery floor when wet. Also, nowhere to put toiletries around the shower other than floor.

Location, accessible room very close to main dining area, lovely big room, wet room with 2 showers, coffee machine in room, staff very friendly & helpful. Luckily there were 2 fans in the room which we needed as the heating was on the whole time with no way of regulating. The room was so hot, hence my slightly less than perfect score.

Internet access very sketchy in the rooms - OK downstairs.

Located in a quiet village outside Oxford. Free and safe parking directly in front and behind. Accommodation was lovely - big rooms, well-maintained, well-appointed. Very comfortable bed - excellent bathroom. Coffee machine in the room. Food was very good - evening meal and breakfast. Staff - interested, interesting, polite and helpful.

Harcourt Arms exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and efficient, and we really appreciated their willingness to take an evening meal to my 96 year old mother who was in the disabled-friendly suite while we were out at a birthday party. The disabled-friendly room was exactly that - wide entrances, a shower room big enough for a wheelchair or a walker and a really comfortable bed. My husband and I stayed with our dog in an upstairs room. It was spacious and comfortable, and there was a dog bed and a bowl of water ready for the hairy member of our party when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide choice of interesting menu items.

The only thing was there was loud music until about 11.45 and we had a sporting event the next day so this wasn’t ideal as it kept me up! I think unfortunately our room was just right above the function room.

I genuinely do not have a negative comment to make.

The room was very clean and exceeded expectations on size, comfort and style. The bathroom in particular was spacious and the shower/wet room was superb, including the fresh soft towels and complimentary products. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and all meals were fantastic, especially the sharing steak meal which was cooked to perfection. I cannot praise the room, bar and restaurant enough but what really makes this place special are the staff. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble when asking for information on the surrounding area and activities/directions in Oxford (Thank you Calum!).

Great clean rooms, spacious bathroom that was cleaned daily. Good pub just downstairs with friendly and helpful staff, an array of games and a nice outdoor space made the stay very enjoyable. If you’re new to the area the staff are helpful with recommendations of where to see and answer any ad hoc questions with enthusiasm. All round great stay

The only thing I would suggest changing is the meagre amount of water in the teapot - especially when more was specifically requested! But that was the only minor inconvenience in the whole stay.

From the initial phone call to the inevitable farewell, the staff were lovely, and welcoming to us, our dog, and our day guests over the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was absolutely superb, and the location was spot on.

It was in a lovely location. Everything was clean and beautiful toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was good. Would have loved to try the restaurant there but they close early on a Sunday. Overall it was a lovely place to stay in.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy, quiet, clean and the bed was confortable. There was complementary water, tea and coffee. The parking space was great. We had the full breakfast that was mouthwatering.

The only tiny complaint was that the heating was too hot, and there was no way to turn this down in the room.

The stay was lovely, the room was big, clean and all the decor was very tasteful. The food in the evening was exceptional!
