Absolutely stunning property, so homely! My favourite room was the kitchen!! Absolutely love the Aga! Relaxing by the fire was just cosy. Me and the family had a wonderful Christmas!!

We had a wonderful stay, my second time visiting the hamlet. Clean, comfortable and the hot tub is such a winner! Location is a lovely little village, we enjoyed walking our dog to the surrounding pubs.

Lovely get together with our family who stayed next door at BarnHam - we loved the hot tub and generally the amount of space which our little ones enjoyed Vernon Arms opposite was really nice - also kids playground which despite wet weather was visited!

We only needed one bedroom but when choosing which to use we noted that the mattress in the bedroom next to the sitting room was not firm - if we had needed to use that room we would have struggled. There is nothing else we could find wrong.

The hot tub was lovely, clean and ready to go. We loved the beautiful warm kitchen with the aga and found everything we needed. We also loved the fact the the courtyard was very secure for our dogs.

The Hamlet is beautiful lovely white linen covers on beds and towels . All rooms so nicely furnished ideal for families. Our family enjoyed the hot tub very secure terrace with little ones

As check in for a weekend could mean a late arrival on a Friday, a welcome pack of milk, bread etc would have been welcomed as the village shop closes at 6 and I think it would be fair considering the price. Be prepared for using an Aga. As novices we were less successful than hoped! A lock on the pedestrian gate would be beneficial though as even though heavy and wouldn’t fly open, it does mean the area is accessible to outside.

The hot tub was a lovely addition and very welcoming after a day exploring. Rooms were beautiful and the kitchen was warm (thanks to the Aga!) and our favourite place to gather and play cards. The Hamlet was private and great for the dogs to roam in the courtyard. Make sure you eat in the Vernon Arms, the food is great and staff lovely.

We loved everything over there from location to jacuzzi. It was our second visit to the Vila , everything is there what you need for your stay , owner is very friendly and helpful. Just relaxing and calm atmosphere.

The actual house itself had every facility - unfortunately did not use the hot tub due to weather conditions but certainly would have done. Our Host was extremely helpful with information about surround areas to visit but in all honesty we were happy to just relax. Would thoroughly recommend

Instructions on how to cook on an Aga, there was a book which was great but a simple how to would be useful.

The Hamlet is in a great location, and very spacious. The added bonus of the hot-tub was ideal, a suggestion for the future would be a pull out cover for use when raining but also to give some shade in the summertime. The secured courtyard was ideal for our puppies and a big field was within 2 mins walk away. Secure parking was great.
