The decor in the bedrooms could do with an update as a bit tired.

All colleagues in hotel were all very good. Food at the restaurant was super and great to see the chef come out and talk us through the menu we had. Views from the bedroom were great.

Disappointed that our bed was a combined 2 single beds. I felt the gap in the middle of the bed. It felt really uncomfortable. Towels smelled a bit funny.

I liked the location. Room size is excellent. Food tasted amazing although a bit small in portion for a full english breakfast.

The only downside was that our stay had a distinct 'out of season' feel to it, which is strange, given that we are in mid-late April now. We had not planned on having dinner at the hotel, but were informed upon check-in that the restaurant would not be open for dinner. We did not know this in advance and could potentially have left us with a bit of a problem. Having returned from dinner elsewhere later that evening, the hotel felt rather deserted. Other than the lady at the check-in desk, we did not see any other guests or hotel staff at all, until the next morning during breakfast.

Almost everything regarding our stay was wonderful and as we expected; the staff were friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and came with a lovely view, the breakfast was a delight. We would love to come and stay again, but only when the summer season is well and truly underway.

The rooms were expensive. Breakfast started at 8.30am, maybe 8am would have been better.

the staff was very helpful and made my stay. The room was very nice with all the things I needed. For the price of the room and as the hotel has a noted restaurant, I felt there should have been homemade biscuits for the coffee tray in the room. The breakfast was excellent, the ingredients were of a high quality.

Cleaning away the black mould around the window frames. A better choice of evening meal and not the same choices every night.

The hotel was very well placed for the town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bedrooms were a really good size with sofas and chairs to relax in. Wonderful sea views and balcony. Food was of a very high standard.

Situated in a lovely location right next to the sea, and walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The view from the sea view room was amazing. The breakfast was very good.

Parts of the bedroom needed some TLC as the furniture was tired and the paint around the window needed some restoration.

The hotel location and reception were both excellent. The room was perfectly positioned with wonderful views over the harbour. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The breakfasts were lovely

Parking was a bit limited. No lift. Shower needs a hand rail as bath can be quite slippy. Toilet flush system was temperamental.

Would have preferred a room with a sea view but didn't realise that when I booked it so should have checked it first. Have no complaints though.

Mattress had a dip on one side, didn’t have any sleep. Breakfast service very alive but food was delicious. Cleanliness could be better, lampshade was very dusty what was right in front of you when you lay down on your bed. Bathroom didn’t feel clean, marks on panel around toilet, shower room with build up limescale, bath tub water temperature was keep changing from very hot to cold

A rather brisk approach from one of the staff when ordering breakfast. You felt you should only order very few items from the menu. Didn't seem generous considering the price paid for the accommodation.

Superb room with balcony and lovely view. All very comfortable. We also had a wonderful nouvelle cuisine meal from Matthew Tomkinson - chef - at the hotel one evening. Very expensive but well worth it!
