Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Welcoming, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, well equipped, spacious room, excellent breakfast. Don’t expect a large chain experience but as hotel requirements go it ticks all the boxes.

United KingdomThe Karen restaurant is fun but omg so loud. The other issue we had not wanting to eat in there, as it’s not our thing, was the very limited menu in the pub part of the hotel with even less gluten free which for a celiac isn’t great.

RomaniaThe staff isn't present 24/7 at the reception area and our keycard had an issue, which prevented us from entering our room for about an hour. This was unfortunate at it was past midnight and we were quite tired and couldn't wait to go to sleep. We were very relieved when someone from the staff came to our aid.
The breakfast was very tasty with quite a few options to pick from, including vegan options. Juices and Coffees were excellent and included in the free breakfast. The staff was very nice and keen on giving you advice. Room had a nice view. The Karen's Diner was a funny and unique experience.

United KingdomI'm sorry guys but your food isn't the best 😂. The burger was OK but the breakfast was not amazing. Spoons breakfast was better and they generally are quite poor. The big issue is the aircon. It's advertised as having aircon which did NOT cool the room so I was sweating out all night and it wasn't even the height of summer. As a guy who looks for that in a booking... that pretty much knocked your score down for me. Lastly they don't really have free parking. There's 3 spaces. So you likely won't get one. Don't advertise as free parking if you can't guarantee it.
The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a Karen's Diner on site which I didn't expect. The bar and diner are loud but that doesn't translate to the rooms which is good and I was in room 1. The location is great for where I wanted to visit and again, the staff make this place worthy of a repeat visit. They're awesome.
