The staff went out of their way to facilitate our stay. They were courteous and polite. We concluded our stay with a family dinner in the Glasshouse and the staff again may us feel extremely welcome. The food was exceptional and we will definitely be revisiting again soon.

The coffee machine coffee at breakfast could have been nicer, but that's just me being picky!

Our weekend here was nothing short of exceptional. We felt so welcomed by Christina at reception as soon as we arrived, who gave us all the info we needed and even took us to our room. The room was so comfortable (especially after an upgrade, thank you!), and there was a special birthday treat for my partner. Breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel, the range of options was amazing and the French toast was a highlight. We had a lovely chat with Vera who was so attentive at breakfast too. Our massages and the spa as a whole were a definite highlight. Mia really took the time to ask what I needed and made me feel so comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and a perfect setting for the whole place, it didn't feel like we were only a short distance from London. The food at Madhu's and Skewd was perfect, such good quality and we were so impressed by the service. Soad at reception was also amazing and very thoughtful after a small mishap at checkout. Yes, the price point is high but everything at The Grove was incredibly slick, well-organised and luxurious - which was exactly what we wanted.

Buffett price was a little hefty, but I knew this when booking.

So much to love here! Surroundings/Location was amazing. Room (deluxe king) was so lovely, comfortable and really clean! Check in and out was really easy, quick and efficient. Spa facilities were OK, nothing necessarily to shout about, but they were nice. Food was amazing! We dined in the Glasshouse where they have their buffet. Not an ordinary buffet, it's around £80, but the choice is incredible, the quality was 10/10, flavours etc, just amazing. Staff were super attentive. Definitely didn't get £80's worth, but only because I was so full. But it was nice to be able to eat one plate of curry, then pasta then a roast! Great selection. Breakfast was also a buffet and with a great selection once again. Unlike a lot of buffets, it was actually very clean and replenished constantly. We booked as it was our 10 year anniversary, the hotel had some anniversary chocolates waiting in our room which was a lovely touch! Overall, amazing stay, just looking at the diary to try and book 2 nights this time!

We had a few dead ladybugs in the room. Pool water and jacuzzi water was cold. Spa needs a revamp and better facilities, lights were missing. Drinks and food costly. Service charge added to everything.

Lovely hotel with good amenities, lots to do for all - activities such as archery, balloon making, board games, bars and resultants. Not to mention golf. Nice touches such as chamomile tea during turn down service

The Stables restaurant on Saturday was very busy, resulting in very slow service for us unfortunately. It was also extremely busy at breakfast on Sunday but the staff accommodated us as much as they could. Not so much an issue but I would recommend for the hotel to install towel rails in the bathrooms - there was nowhere to hang our towels once used.

The room was larger than expected with a nice view of the sculpted gardens and great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge range of options from continental to full English. The pool and SPA area were wonderful, I enjoyed swimming multiple laps in there before our delicious Indian dinner at Madhus. There was a harp player in the lounge on Saturday and in the lobby on Sunday creating a truly magical atmosphere. There was also a man with birds of prey on Sunday - it was great that the hotel organises so many activities.

Wasn’t anything I didn’t like or enjoy here it was fab.

Absolutely everything. Driving up the path to the hotel is just stunning, the grounds are so beautiful. The staff are just absolutely wonderful and friendly. The facilities were incredible and we really enjoyed the spa. Every little walk leads to somewhere so beautiful. The food was amazing and the buffet style dinner at the glasshouse was just insane. The room was comfortable and spacious. I loved the activities that went on at the hotel also. It was my boyfriends birthday and they upgraded us for free which was just so lovely and made the experience even better for us. Thank you to all the staff, all so wonderful :)

The shower wasn't the easiest to use

Staff were helpful; rooms were large, clean and quiet; the spa facilities were really good. We also loved the restaurants on the grounds, we tried all except the Indian fine dining - the dinner buffet being a highlight.

It was busy but perhaps that's a good thing.

I would highly recommend the lounge for afternoon tea or a light meal - beautiful surroundings and lovely music from a local harpest. The staff were outstanding in particular the Japanese lady who served us. The international buffet was delicious and had a very wide selection to suit everyone's preferences - even non-gluten food!
